I was floating through the dark emptiness, I don’t know what or where this place is, but one thing is certain, I can’t keep my thoughts, I keep tuning in and out, as if this place wills me not to think. It’s easier not to fight it, since I can’t quite grasp what was going on around me, so I just let myself succumbed to the dark’s will-to peace, where nothing is important but rest-. I don’t know how long I stayed here, floating on to nothingness but then I can hear sounds, irritating sounds that pierces through my peace. I can feel a pull, to where, I don’t know. I floated to where this pull brings me and I noticed that as I came nearer, the sounds grew louder. I felt chaos around me, my body itches, my finger twitches, screams and shouts can be heard from all directions and then I realized that it was all coming from around me and voices - I could hear voices- what were they saying? I thought numbly. I slowly realized that I was no longer in that dark place, nor peace is around me when I saw light behind my closed lids. ‘Come on body frigging move’, I slowly opened my eyes, and was assaulted by bright light, I winced and waited, as my eyes soon adjusted I found myself staring into the eyes of that girl from before-what was her name?…Jaiden? yes, it was Jaiden. My consciousness agreed.

I sat up and saw a bunch of people crowding around me I have no idea what happened or what was happening. I glanced around and saw Phillip sitting on top of a pile of bodies, which were beat up pretty badly. Why is he sitting there? What have they done to make Phillip beat them up? I mused. It doesn’t make sense. I turned back to the other group of people staring at me with mouths agape. Then in the distance, I heard someone talking and discovered that it was Jaiden and that other girl, Shannon.

“What the fuck is going on here,” Jaiden said befuddled “did everyone else saw what I just saw? This kid got his chest sliced open and he’s still alive! I don’t know many people who could do that.” Jaiden continued. At first I was puzzled of what she was saying, I told you I don’t have a damn clue of what’s happening.

“You think he’s an angel? They’re the only ones I know of who have that ability. Maybe that could explain why he healed so quickly and was still alive?” Shannon asked, sharing her theory.

“That would explain why I felt like hitting the kid when he bumped into me at the classroom.” Jaiden snickered.

“Jaiden you should be kind enough to thank him, you’re indebted to him. He saved your life, and that’s not true. We both know that you want to hit everyone when they bump into you.” Shannon scolded her.

“Yeah, but when he bumped onto me, I actually took a swing at him instead of walking off that’s how much he pissed me off, not many people can do that and angels are one of them.” Jaiden said, ignoring the first part Shannon had said.

“Yeah. Well if he was an angel, how come he jumped in the way to save you, when he clearly saw what you were back at the class room, when you threw Steven into the wall”.

Silence trailed after Shannon’s words so I took this chance to say, “Oi random people. I’m right here and I can hear every word you two are saying, so if you don’t mind me asking what the fuck is going on here and what the fuck are you guys.”

The response they gave me was something I really did not expect. They all started laughing there asses off and they didn't stop there, some of them started rolling on the ground laughing. Then Jaiden stepped forward and said to me, “What are you talking about? We’re all ‘freaks,’” She quoted the ‘freaks’ with her fingers and snickered. “or better yet, Monsters that’s the kind word for us. We are all Monsters, including you.”

“No. No. Not like you, I'm normal. I'm human I can’t do any of that crazy ass shit.” I said, bewildered. There was laughter again, just that really creepy laughter, “You think you’re human? Why do you think you’re still alive?” She asked.
