Forgiveness

"Dad, you didn't say he was going to be here. I can't even look at him let alone be in the same room as him" 

I sighed knowing that there was no way out of this, I had to spend an hour with the person I not necessarily hated but just temporarily disliked. Harry and Zayn made their excuses saying they had to go and help write a song for another artist, big load of bull I had ever heard.

"Ally please, just let me explain" Alex slowly walked towards me, his hand reached out for me to take.

"Fine, and I think I can walk without your help thank you"

Alex simply, let me pass and then followed suit behind. He opened the door to the recording room letting me go in first, I took a seat furthest from Alex and waited for him to try and come up with a stupid reason as to why he cheated on me. There was nothing that could make me change my mind, it was over between me and Alex.

"The reason I didn't tell you was because I didn't want to hurt you, I k-"

"If you didn't want to hurt me you shouldn't of lied and kept this to yourself. Look I'm not going to fall out with you and pretend that I want to know your real reason as to why you did it but I just want things back the way they were. A relationship isn't going to work with us, that's clear to see. I don't trust you anymore, that's a key factor when you're with someone. We can be friends but we can't be anything more, Alex I love you but I'm not in love with you"

I sighed, taking in Alex's facial expression. It was a mixture of hurt, understanding and betrayal. I almost felt but if it wasn't for his cheating scam.

"I wrote you a song, thought it would bring you back but I guess not. I get it, I can handle being friends. But I do have one request, listen to my song? so I don't look like a total dick and wrote it for nothing?"

I smiled and waited for Alex to fiddle with a few buttons and then the music slowly began to play into the padded room. Alex's eyes burned into the side of my face as she started to sway to the gentle music.

"Alex, this is, this is amazing! You should do something with this." I had raise my voice slightly to speak over the final beats of the song.

"Hm, I gave it to the boys. They needed a song for their album so I offered to give them the one songs i wrote for you"

A good hour passed before Zayn and Harry came back into the room, they smiled as they seen their children friends again. Of course it had to be broken.

"Ally, Niall wanted to know if you could baby sit Arielle?"

I loved spending time with little Arielle, she was growing up so fast. Sarah and Niall spoiled her, giving her nothing but the very best. It was sweet and she wasn't an obnoxious brat.. at the moment anyway. Harry dropped me at Niall's and went on his way. I loved spending time with Niall, I never understood why but he was always more fun than the other guys. 

The door to the house was open, Archie the jack russell was running around the front lawn chasing his tale which Icouldn't help but laugh at. I shouted for Niall and  wondered through the hall, all I heard was a muffled response of 'kitchen'

"Hey Ni, where's Arielle?"

Niall just mumbled something that sounded like living room, food slightly overflowing from his mouth. I giggled to myself  and headed into the living room to see Arielle watching spongebob and smiling. 

"How's my favourite little girl?" 

"Ally" Arielle came running up to me slightly knocking me off balance, I smile and picked up the Arielle and ruffled her hair. 

"So where are you and Sarah heading then?"

"We aren't, she is. I'm baby sitting but didn't fancy going into town on my own so I'm dragging you with me"

"Such a dork, I made friends with Alex again, felt so bad that I didn't really give him a chance to explain but it would have made everything so much harder"

Arielle tapped my shoulder and whispered to be put down so I placed the little girl on to her feet. Niall looked slightly upset by what was said.

"Ni, what was that look for? I thought you'd be glad I made friends with him again? At least now you wont have to put up with me moaning"

"Yeah, I am glad but that means you'll spend less time hanging out with me" 

"Aw Niall you know you're like a secret lover to me, I love you really" I said while pulling Niall into a hug to try and cheer him up. 

"I love you Aaliyah, more than you will ever know"
