Sapphire walked towards her boat. It was a beautiful night. The stars were shining bright. The full moon was just over her shoulder, looking down upon the world. Well mostly just America right now. There was a faint breeze blowing Sapphire's long, brown, silver streaked hair across her back. Her brown eyes looked fatigued, like she hadn't slept the night before.

Sapphire had a bag with her. By the size, you could tell it was filled with clothes and equipment. Her heeled boots didn't make a single noise on the dock floorboards. Her clothes helped her blend in. All the black looked like the dark ocean water just to her right. The only way you could tell she was there was the white tank top covering her stomach.

Sapphire stopped next to a white boat that was floating on the water. She threw the bag she had been carrying inside. Then stepped over the edge of the boat and on to it herself. She picked up her bag and was just about to go inside when she heard it. A faint sound, like someone yelling from a far away distance.

As the seconds ticked by, the noise got louder. When Sapphire finally looked the way she had come, she spotted someone running towards her. She was able to tell what that person was yelling, now that they were closer. They were yelling out her name. When the person finally drew even with the boat, they were winded.

Sapphire then realized who it was. It was her half-brother, Jeffery. He had brown hair like hers, except his had red streaks instead of silver. He, like Sapphire, was in peak physical condition. Even though he was couple years older than Sapphire. He was her step brother. His mom and her dad having gotten married 10 years ago. When Sapphire was 11 and Jeffery was 13. Ever since they met, they haven't gotten along.

When her brain registered Jeffery standing before her, responding to her mood of dislike, her eyes changed to an orange color. Both her and Jeffery's eyes do this because their lineage can trace back to kings and queens.

"Sapphire! I'm so glad I caught you! Dad said we need to start getting along, so I want to go on your expedition with you. Please?"

"No."

"Come on Sapphire! Please, with a cherry on top?"

"The answer is still, no."

"Dad wants me to go. He will order you to take me if he has too. He is the secretary of defense. " Jeffery said.

Sapphire sighed."Do you have a bag packed? Do you have your laser pistols? Do you even know where I'm going? Do you realize how dangerous this will be?"

"Yes. Yes. No. Yes." He answered in one breath.

"Fine. Come on." Sapphire held out her hand for Jeffery to take. When he did, Sapphire pulled him into the boat. "You had better not get into to much trouble."

"Yes ma'am." Together they checked everything on the boat. Then Jeffery untied them from the dock. Sapphire turned on the motor, and off they went. Towards the Lost Night Temple.

They had been out to sea for two days now. Sapphire's eyes were constantly changing between their regular brown, and the orange color. Jeffery's eyes were constantly changing between his regular light blue and the same orange color.

They were both getting annoyed with each other. Sapphire had already threatened several times to gut Jeffery if he didn't quit annoying her. Jeffery had almost shot Sapphire's head off when she had startled him awake. Why he had a gun under his pillow, Sapphire would never understand. Now they were fighting over which way to go. Distracting them from the landmass they were headed right for.

"I'm telling you Jeffery, the temple is to the North East. Not towards the North West."

"Sapphire, I have always been better at reading maps then you. Take my advice. The temple is towards the North West. To the North East is the island nation of Hawaii."
