This story takes an unusual approach where the main character finds herself living in the wild with a pack of actual wolves – not shifters. Everything that she had thought about what a mate was supposed to be was turned upside down when she finally got a chance to meet hers on her sixteenth birthday; leaving her for dead she finds comfort with a pack of wild wolves and joins their pack in search of a new beginning. After a run in with some werewolves she has to decide if living on her own in the wild is really what’s best for her; follow her through her struggle as she tries to fit in with the normal world once again after being feral for so long. This is not your typical mate rejection story but that doesn’t mean that you won’t experience love, pain and redemption along the way. When I first started reading this I was intrigued by the idea of a werewolf living with a pack of wild wolves; it was so far off from anything else I had ever read and I’m happy to report that it turned out to be a great story! Don’t miss out on this one, it’s a must read!
