'Why ducks?' You wonder angrily grabbing one and throwing it out your window. 'Get out you terrible things!!' So far moving here was awful but, you wanted to go to Hogwarts. You had lived in America but before you turned six you'd moved to London so your brothers could go to Hogwarts as well. And, you hated it. Every morning when you stepped outside a putrid smell would consume you, pee and gas. Mixed together. Ew. You avoided every puddle in your path but always seemed to end up smelling like pee and gas. It stunk. Literally. There were only two more days to wait before leaving for Hogwarts and you could not wait. Anyway, it was five am and you just opened your window to let in the morning air, a storm was rolling in so it smelled of rain, not pee thank the Lord. Sadly you had completely disregarded the fact that the neighbor's ducks had taken a liking to your roof and got angry when you opened your window. So they decided to jump inside and squawk very loudly. You grabbed another and threw it out as well but it decided to poop on you at the same time. Ugh, you hated London. You wipe your hands on a duck thinking it to be your towel left in your room from last night and it bit you. "Ow!" you hissed. "Meanie!" You say and throw the wriggly thing out your window. 'Two more to go. I got this.' you think confidently grabbing a duck. Just as you toss out the last duck it starts to rain. "Finally something good!" You reach out your window and clean your hands off in the rain. You leave your window open and begin to clean up your room littered with feathers. And finally, your loft bed in the corner is made and the old-fashioned string lights hanging over your desk, under your bed, are re-hung and turned on. Your desk is feather clean and the books are and papers are stacked properly, the bean bag is put back in the corner on the right of your window, opposite of your bed. The books are put back on your bookshelf and the nautical lantern hanging lamp inside it is turned on. The second set of old-fashioned string lights, hanging above your window and beanbag, are turned on as well adding to the warm light filling the room. The short dresser on the left of your door is shut tightly and the piture frames are ajusted, you turn on another set of string lights and breath deeply. The smell of rain makes you happy, you love the rain. You decided not to turn on the overhead light, it would ruin the coziness of your room now. The wood floor creaks as you step into your small bathroom. To your right is the toilet and sink, side by side. And to the left is a deep free standing bathtub under a small square window. You turn on a third string of old-fashioned lights hanging above the bath and open the window. Another breeze wafts in and you smile happily. You turn and check on the small suculent tereriums hanging with the string lights, they were fine. The small pastel blue mat underneath you seems to cling to your feet as if it's saying it'll miss you. You smile and walk to the sink, splashing your face with cold water. And then you look in the mirror, a gran excapes your lips and you look at your (h/c) hair. It was puffy and tangled. "I hate London."

You quietly close your door behind you after changing and taming your crazy hair. You look to the left, listening for your two older brothers.

"Srnnk..."

Good. Both sleeping. You tiptoe down the wooden spiral stairs to your right, skipping the second step closest to the bottom, it creaked. You look into the room before you. The pastel blue sofa and chairs sit before our huge navy fireplace and two vases filled with blue roses sit on the glass tables inbetween the chairs and couch. Two pairs of thick navy curtains on either side of the fireplace are pulled open, meaning your mother was awake. You whisk past the dining room and into the brightly lit kitchen. The wooden floor is covered in a navy, circulir rug and the window above the sink is open tiny droplets of rain speckle the rug leaving even darker marks on it. Your mother stands at the stove in a knee length navy skirt and a white blouse, perfect for her, a Ilvermorny horned serpent.
