The light of the moon seeped through the blinds of the room. Only the sounds of Minhyuk, Shownu, Kihyun's snores interrupted the silence of the night. Minhyuk's sudden tossing and turning became audible to the ear as he began to dream. Flashes of shattered glass and blood on the pavement began to run through the blonde's dream. He saw images of Kihyun, his younger brother, faced down on the floor with shards of glass jabbed into his scraped face.
He remembered everything; he could never forget the events that took place that haunting night. He could still feel the discomfort of him being upside down in the crushed piece of metal. He could still feel the shock of Kihyun being left for blind. He could still feel the pain in Shownu's tears being shed in the hospital room. He could still feel the love his parents had for them before that faithful night.
Minhyuk began to moan loudly during his dream, realizing that he was reliving a past nightmare. The constant noise was loud enough to wake his older and younger brothers in the middle of the dark night. The younger pushed his torso up with his forearms from the bottom bunk and started to feel around for his white cane. He shifted his hand near the bedside table, grabbing his cane and hitting it against the top bunk so Minhyuk could shut up.
Shownu got his toned body off his bed to look around the dark room with his swollen eyes. The quiet older grabbed pillow, walking over to the maknea and hitting him with it with it so he would stop the annoying thumping.
"Stop that Kihyun! We don't need anymore noise complaints from the neighbors! I can barely afford this apartment and I can't lose it to your cane." Shownu sternly whispered as he looked over to the sweaty Minhyuk. His skin glistened in the moonlight as Shownu shook him awake to calm him down. Minhyuk opened his eyes, while beads of sweat rolled down his pale skin. He began to cry in the comfort of his brother's arms; Shownu already realized what troubles the younger in his deep sleep. He comforted the blonde until his eyes were shut again. ———————————————————————— Hi!! I'm so excited to be writing this about my favorite ship in Monsta X!!! I hope you're looking forward for what's to come. I pulled a little inspiration from Shine Forever in the prologue.
