"I still think that Honeydukes should make a Honeydukes flavored jelly bean." Lea said as she examined a chocolate frog collectible card. Lea was a Malfoy, she had that signature thick light icy blonde hair that swung at her shoulders. With a combination of cold pale blue eyes that almost told a horror story just looking at them. Her real name was Emelia however, she didn't care for that name so she just went by Lea. When people asked why she went by Lea she would only shrug and say it was too many syllables.

Bernice was one of her good friends, that had black, wavy, thick hair that fell down to her waist. She also had big almond shaped bright green eyes, just like her dad. She also inherited a few freckles that she got from her mother. Her real name was Beatrice but, she went by Bernice instead. She as really, really, hated the name though her parents always called her that. She said that it reminded her of some old women from the 1800s that lived alone and that she was certainly not like that at all.

"But what would Honeydukes taste like I might ask?" Bernice shot back with a sly smile. "Whatever they want it to be." Lea replied, finally looking up from her Helga Hufflepuff who has now seemingly disappeared.

"I think it would be a combination of chill pepper and peppermint." Bernice added thoughtfully as she looked out the window out towards the shops and the people walking past.

It was a chilly day at Diagon Alley. The sky was gray, the breeze was crisp, but the shops still had their light of excitement. The Diagon Alley was not very crowded according to the fact that it was the day before all the students of Hogwarts left for school.

They approached the Three Broomsticks entrance way. It looked much like an old wood shack with a crooked faded sign. The roof hung over like an umbrella sheltering them from the drizzling rain. Cobwebbs lined the entrance and the walls were damp from the long years of storms it had faced. The roof was leaky and Lea heard occasional scurrying of rats sprinting across the floor.

"Welcome to The Three Broomsticks. What would you like?"

The waitress that served them was a bit drab. Her eyes half closed, no sense of emotion, and her dark brown hair was greasy, but she was still a witch all the same.

"Two Butterbeers...please." Lea said keeping her attention on Bernice.

"Coming right up."

The girls sat together sipping their Butterbeer still engaged in their conversation. It was almost like they had a key and whenever they wanted to they could lock themselves in together and shut off the outside world.
