It bothers me so much when authors copy and paste their book description as the first chapter of the book.

We chose to read your book because we saw your description. We don't need to read it again in the first chapter.

Now, let me explain something for those of you who have read my book Black Rose. In my first chapter, there is a small excerpt of my description that sums up the larger description of the book. If you don't know what I mean, you should read my book (shameless self promo).
