Stuck With You [Pending Rewrite]

Chapter 2

As I was walking home, looking at the pavement doing so, I heard a loud explosion coming from not too far away. When I turned to my left I saw smoke coming from the lab my dad worked at.

Being one who is often curious about things, I rushed over to the lab to check up on what happened.

After about fifteen minutes of jogging, I slowed to a stop, as I had arrived at the lab's entrance. I didn't know much of the building's layout, so I just dashed around the place. Eventually, I came across an open door with smoke emitting from it. I looked inside and started coughing. I really hated smoke...

After a few minutes, the smoke had finally cleared. Each of the scientists were gawking at something at the front of the room. I switched my gaze from them to the direction they were looking.

When I saw what was there, my jaw dropped.
