The Departure

They stood staring into each other's
eyes that were now flooding with tears.

She wanted to stay with him all day in
his arms and tell him how much she
love him

But life was so cruel to them

To choose love by another's eyes

But each was fond of their parents and
would never disobey their wishes, even
if it means to sacrifice their own love.

The scream came louder to her ears
than ever

She knew it was the cry of her mother
and something must have happened

But for a moment, she didn't care since this was her last time being in
his presence.

Finally, she bid farewell to him.

She knew destiny would bring them back together,

Even if it couldn't change
their parents' decision.

They kissed and parted to go their
separate ways,

maybe forever,

as long as both their parents were living.

How could love do this to them?

Splitting their affection into two
different things,

Building a wall they were incapable of
getting over.

With tears gleaming in her eyes, she
turned and ran to attend her mother's call.

He watched her with indescribable
pain forming in his chest

For he couldn't do anything about their
distance.... And neither could she.

Love is a juice with many tastes

And it seemed they had tasted the
wrong one.

They had to suffer the crime of loving
someone with such a punishment

Setting their hearts at rest that will
never rest when they are apart,

But each hoped that one day their
sweet hello's would make up for their
sad goodbyes,

Bringing them back together again in
another life.
