You hadn't talked to Jace for a day or two, so you decided to go over to his house and see him. When you got to his place you opened the door and all the lights were off. You were a bit confused since you knew he was home, so you walked in shutting the door behind you quietly and started to walk around, looking for him.
You searched the downstairs, still no lights on, before walking up the stairs. You looked in his dark room before walking over to check his bathroom. You got to the bathroom and saw a figure on the floor, you turned on the light and gasped.
Jace was lying on the ground unconscious with a thin line of blood dripping from his nose. A thin cloth wrapped around just above his elbow and a needle sticking out of his vein. There was a lighter and a spoon with an unusual substance in it on the floor near him. He was a ghostly pale and his breathing was shallow and slow.
