Dear you,

There are blips I leave out,

Each time I tell our story,

Blips, I'm sure you leave out too.

Because they prove that ours was no fairy tale,

Even though it felt like one.

Because we were just another pair of lovers,

With flawed judgement.

Despite, all that was said and done.

Nights, when my oblivious self talked amicably,

And time seemed to blur,

When, It was evident in your eyes

That were distracted by her.

When, you would beg me to tell you how I felt for you,

But I kept lying anyways,

Told you I never cared for you,

Just to save my crumbling face.
