This has been bothering me for awhile, and I decided to do a chapter. I (luckily) ended up in a class last year that didn't really care about what I liked. I know that sounds weird but what I mean is if they don't like anime they won't make a huge deal, they'll just say, "I don't like anime," and leave me alone. My friends ended up in a class where people made a huge deal about it. Sometimes I would go to their class if we had to switch Social Studies and Language Arts, and one time a boy told us that he read somewhere that anime makes you lose brain sells. (One he never did a test so he has no right to say that, and two if anime did make you lose brain sells that mean youtube would because you watch anime on tvs, computers, and other devices which have been proven that they don't get rid of brain sells)
Later the same boy asked us, "Is Undertale and anime?" (Read in a annoying voice) which it is not it is a game. I told him to look up what anime really is so he knows more about it and stops looking like an idiot when he tries to annoy us, and he responded, "I can't. I don't want people seeing my browser history and think I'm a weeaboo," One you can delete browser history, two one thing about anime doesn't make you a weeaboo, and three if you don't look up stuff about anime, how did you read that anime makes you lose brain sells.
I think that the reason not lots of people like anime is because we live in a "here and now" world. If you haven't noticed yet, lots of TV shows are mostly one episode explains one thing then the whole thing changes with occasional two part episodes. Anime, on the other hand, is one whole story and it never really changes through out the whole series.
(Btw there are animes that are right here right now so if you like that I suggest those)
I'm not one to hate on people that don't like what I like because that's our opinion to like things, the only thing I have to say is that we as people shouldn't make claims without all the facts. If they hear swearing in one anime they might think that all animes have that, if they see one inappropriate seen, then they think all are like that which is not true. If you are gonna make you claim then you need backup, and thats why my friends and I sometimes leave anime haters speechless, we have seen anime so we have more facts then them. It's like saying mermaids are real without any facts about why that's true. Again, I understand if you don't like anime, but at least try one show so if you are gonna make a claim then you'll have some facts. Anyway sorry for my little rant, this stuff just really annoys the crap out of me. Anyway I'll see you guys later.
