The Battle Field
The battle of the great third and second kingdoms armies in the land of Keloniam, bodies lie at random, many dead even more wounded. As the blood, death, and chaos stain the stale air.. I look to both of my sides to oversee this discorded place. I keep fighting in this bloodshed.. It seems like a nightmare to most but I've seen this all before, all too many times to count, this isn't my first war. My arms tire but I stand tall, I cannot give in to my exhaustion... Not yet, not until our victory been decided. Slash, stab, behead repeat.. I think to myself knowing that it may all be in vain.. a hidden fear that I will fall lies deep beneath my thoughts. What if it's true... As I begin to think about my own inevitable downfall I remember.. I need to keep my thoughts straight.. I am undefeated and as I always win. My allies dying by my side, I keep myself steady as I can, heart pounding through my chest with each swing of my sword. Battles like this used to make me sick, I'd get nauseated each time i saw blood. After a great loss of my mother, it was gruesome, blood everywhere we looked her body was shredded... After then I didn't let much faze my heart, if in fact it did, I would push myself ten times harder than I had ever before. Taking myself past my maximum limit, even if it hurts me. I need to be better than those people..

Back then I was ten just barely understanding my training. It was a cold october evening, just after a war we had won. The first war i fought in, only minor battles of course. I remember that day so well, she was right there... I had left the room with father to chase a butterfly, because back then i had an innocent mindset. A scream came from the direction mother was in, it sounded like her. "Momma..?" A frightened younger me called out, I looked up at father. My scared questioning blue eyes met his concerned brown ones.
"Irisa..?!" He called out mother's name while he ran towards the scream, I followed. What greeted our eyes was a dark bloody sight to behold especially for a ten year old. I was scared, I walked closer.
"M-Momma?" Father grabbed my hand and pulled me back. Her beautiful blonde hair stained with blood, her long gown torn and stained. Her limbs detached from her once practically perfect body. The image painted my mind, no it stained it.. It scarred my mind. An image permanently etched in my mind, to show itself in times of doubt and grief. A permanent picture painted to the back of my mind. But it wasn't true... a lie...

My head returns to the fight, my thoughts are as uneven as my sharp breaths, What can I say... To motivate the fallen, "We will not give up, WE WILL FIGHT!" I screamed to my troops, Is that all I can think of? Pathetic. I am the current commanding officer of the Third Kingdom's troops. The opposing armies were strong not to mention they also outnumbered us as well, 50 warriors to about 40. As leader of the fallen troops I'm scared and I have no idea what to do. Then I remembered about...
"How?" Jasper yells to me sounding desperate, pulling me from my deep thoughts. His teal hair is stained with the crimson blood of his enemies. His ocean blue eyes seem almost all black as a dark aura emanates a pure mix of fear and power. "Scarlett, how in the hell could we possibly have a chance at living through this lost cause?" His voice is coarse and scared, yet confident and ready. The true voice of a warrior, he is a strong one. He probably is the strongest.
"This is not a lost cause, what about," I stop to think of how to word it, what if Jasper doesn't know of Plan Z-23 only few soldiers think it's real. Z-23 is a dodge-it-all plan. Confuse the enemy. Make them attack themselves.
"What about what?" He pulls me from thought again, he lessens his volume bringing our conversation to a close proximity, "Answer me."
"What if we fight without fighting?" I hope he gets it, he gives me a look of knowing.
"Z-23?" Jasper whispers, I nod. "You know your entire troop knows of that, right?" I laugh pathetically after he says that. "I'll tell the soldiers to initiate the plan as soon as possible." He begins yelling, "Z-23! I repeat, Z-23!" Everyone's eyes shift, the enemies faces filled with confusion. Everyone changes the way they fight. Hitting less, making them attack each other. Baiting them into a corner. It might.. It will work.

Finally the plan was working, the bodies on the ground surround us more and more by the second now we outnumbered them about 30 to 20. "We finally have the advantage."
"Fine, fine your plan worked."
"Now we must strike down their lead-eerr" as I said that last word, I began slipping away from reality, and everything was abyss as far as the eyes could see. Darkness... Everything has gone BLACK.
