chapt 2
I was waiting in the park as the note told me to. I looked down at myself, leather brown 1 inch ankle boots, dark skinny jeans, an tani looking color bag sweater that says I LOVE YOU in red, a dog tag that reads the Mortal Instruments,and a beanie that says KEEP OUT! in bold black. I know my fashion isn't that well but in less than thirty minutes almost anything looked appealing. I took out my Verizon HTC Rhyme to see what time it was, it was 7:14. No one is going to come. I was headed back home until i heard
" hey you! stop right there!"
I stopped for a sec than turned around head low. It sounded like a girls voice, and familiar.
I kept turning, and turning and turning until i came to a nice pair of words that read NIKE. My eyes bulgded wide! I tilted my head up higher to the legs and saw my jeans?
I looked at mines the one on me. They were exactly the same sort of, except this jean had a stain of what looked like nail polish the color of my nails.
Black.
This can't be her! this must be a coincidence. There are many other girls out there who has these jeans and a spill on their pants shapes like a star...
I looked higher to see a belt that had BFF written all over it. There's only one girl i know who has those. And how do i know that? b/c i was the one who thought of it.
I glanced at her shirt, it was a neon pink that said L♥VE with little hearts all over the front of the shirt. I don't think i've ever seen those in her closet before...
Than now for the moment of truth... her face. I stuttered while looking up.When i got to her face it didn't and did surprise me.
"Hi Rachel" She said with a smile on her face.
My jaw literally dropped. With a free hand i closed it.
Is it really her?
The old her?
Barb?
" Hi Barb" I rushed to her as fast as my short legs could carry me and threw me arms around her. Barb did the same. We soon started crying.
