"Only once and not for long. Apparently the Ancients are also missing from Jezzebel's Coven. This is getting really complicated. They made all these members vanish without giving them time to contact anyone for help."

"Why didn't they nab Clarise?" Cece finally spoke up next to me.

"Technically Clarise is unaffiliated. She works for all five Coven's of the city." I was shocked Jared had answered her question so easily.

"Too bad," I mumbled where I laid leaning against my mahogany headboard.

Jared reached up and began to tickled my feet before I could pull them out of his hands. "Anyways, they both called to ask for our help. Well Aunt Beatrix was more polite in the asking. Clarise stated, and I quote, 'Let's see if your little idea of Supernatural's working together can help out in this absurd problem'."

He raised an eyebrow at me as I huffed in indignation. "Seriously, you'd think I lit their cats on fire. It's a damn good idea. Might as well get busy now. The sun hasn't risen yet so Dimitri will still be awake. I need to contact him and let him know that I'll need his people tonight."

"Are you sure it's a good idea to have the Vampires join us?"

My eyes opened in shock at the blatant disgust lacing my brothers voice.

"Wow. I never thought you'd be so prejudice. I've never actually gotten to know a vampire aside from Dimitri. Might I add he's a Master Vampire and all Master Vampire's are pain's in the ass. If you don't want to meet them, don't show up."

I heard a sigh drift from the end of the bed at the same time that Cece laughed. When I glanced at her she was staring at me like I had made a joke.

"What?"

"Looks like I get to pack up my cross and holy water early. So, did you also get representatives for the Mages as well?"

I rolled my eyes at her and pointedly looked at Mr. Mage extroadinaire. Which she took as universal sign 'Badger him with questions of the Mage's because they hate my guts'. A sort of truth.

"They're sending over Cole but wouldn't tell me the other person. Can't imagine it's going to be someone we like with that kind of response."

"As long as it's not Vivian, I can handle the rest."

Jared rolled his head to look at me before commenting, "With your luck, It's probably going to be Vivian."

"I never understood her blatant hatred of me. Maybe I was too much of a reminder that her beloved had Vampire blood running through his veins."

Cece stiffened next to me and I awkwardly avoided looking at her.

"Whatever. We never even went out. She used to follow me around like a stray puppy dog. At least whenever I wasn't keeping you close to my side."

"I did notice that actually. Any Coven event that I was forced to go to, you'd drag me around like I was your man purse."

Cece relaxed and let out a tentative laugh. Bringing us back to the one hundred dollar question. "Any ideas on what the hell could've made an entire Coven disappear?"

"Aliens," Cece supplied which I pointedly ignored.

Jared got up onto one elbow so he could face us both before saying, "Well Vampires and Shapeshifters are out of the question. If they could make an entire Coven disappear, Mage's wouldn't be on equal standing in this City. My only guess is that it's something with a lot of Magic. It could be another Mage who tapped into the dark arts but it still doesn't make sense. The entire Coven had to have disappeared within a short time frame of one another. Some of the members who disappeared were clear across town."
