The light behind your eyes (gerard way)

Chapter 4

***Sam's P.O.V***

Me and Gerard were driving as quick as we can to get the suicide note he wrote before anyone sees it

We were sitting in an awkward silence until he broke the silence,"Since you know my name can you tell me yours?" He asked me while still looking at the road,"My name is Samantha, but you can call me Sam," I told him. He looked at me a bit,"We'll, Sam, can you tell me how old you are?" He asked,"I'm 19," I answered him while looking back at him. He smiled,"Cool, I'm 23," I looked at him and looked down and mumbled softly to myself,"I know," and I blushed in embarrassment a bit. I looked up at him and saw a smirk on his face,"Right I forgot, your a fan of my Band," he chuckled softly which made me blush more in embarrassment and I just nodded in response

After a while of a nice and comfortable silence, Gerard stopped infront of a house which I guess was his, but it had 3 other cars, I gulped and looked at Gerard,"Are those your cars?" He shook his head and began shaking,"t-th-those are M-Mikey, F-Franks's, a-and R-ray's c-c-cars," he stuttered and he began crying,"they must've f-found the note!" I grabbed his hand, leaned forward, and wiped his tears with my thumbs,"It'll be okay, Gerard," I whispered to him while still holding his hand, he looked at me with sad eyes and looked down,"I-I hope," I gave him a small and gentle smile,"I'm sure it will, now let's go inside," he nodded softly in response.

I got out of the car, went to his side, opened the door and put my hand out infront of him. He hesitantly put his hand in mine, got out of the car, and we walked slowly to his house. When we were infront of the door, we heard crying and I felt Gerard start shaking and I gave Gerard a small reassuring smile and squeezed his hand to let him know that it's gonna be okay. He looked at me and gave me a small sad smile and he pulled out his house keys from his pocket.

When Gerard unlocked his house, he slowly opened the door and we both walked inside. We saw Mikey, Frank, and Ray crying and when they heard us they instantly looked up and ran to Gerard and hugged him while still sobbing. They all hugged each other and Gerard began crying,"I-I'm so sorry!" Everyone pulled away, except for Mikey and looked at Gerard,"I-it's okay, G-Gerard, just p-promise me you'll n-never do this a-again," Mikey stuttered and looked at Gerard,"I-I promise," Gerard promised and they hugged each other. Just looking at them made me drop a few tears.

When they pulled away, Gerard looked at me and gave me a small smile. I guess the guys didn't know I was here, so they all turned around and looked at me,"W-who are you?" Mikey asked a bit shyly,"I'm Sam," I answered him softly,"What are you doing here?" Frank asked kindly. Before I got to answer him, Gerard walked next to,"She's here because she was the one that stopped me from killing myself," he said while looking at all of them. They stood still for a second until they all ran to me and hugged me, I couldn't hold my balance and I fell to the floor with them I top of me still hugging me,"thank you so much!" They all screamed happily

I giggled a bit,"There's no need to thank me," I smiled and looked at Gerard," I would have done it no matter what," Gerard smiled and I think he... Blushed? I don't know, so I just shrugged it off. When the guys pulled away, they helped me up and smiled at me

I'm glad they're okay, but now i know what I want to do. I looked at Gerard, I'm gonna make him happy again no matter what
