"You now your adorable right?" My best friend Alex says smiling.
"Ugh don't say that!" I groan, secretly making my heart pound. "It's true Ally don't even try to pretend it's not!" She continues getting closer than she should to my lips. While she's talking that's all I can think about, her lips, my lips, maybe even below her lips. She stays lose smiling a challenge, I sigh and move away reaching for my book.
"So we better start reading the test is on Monday." I say desperately trying change the subject.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know." Alex groans opening her book. I watch her marvelling at how gorgeous she is. I open my book and pretend to read. I have loved her ever since we started working together which was 3 years ago... and ever since she broke up with her boyfriend she has been particularly forward. I've wanted to kiss her so many times but I've been scared it might ruin our friendship.
An hour later I hear my mom honk outside, secretly wishing she was late so I wouldn't have to untangle myself from Alex.
"Well, that's my cue. I will see you tomorrow!" I say rushing to get my books and shoes.
"Awe okay. See you tomorrow. " she whines.
"Yeah bye!" I call rushing out the door hoping she didn't see how red my face was.
