It was just another day for Sonic. He was out for one of his daily runs through the green hills. The only thing unusual was that Dr.Robotnik hadn't attack for MONTHS!! Everybody else was out partying except Sonic. He didn't believe that Robotnik had given up.
Sonic P.O.V
I kept running and running trying to get rid of the thought of Ro-butt-nik! I wanted to believe he had given up but something in my gut was stopping me. I tried to think back to our last battle something in the corner of my eye. I tried to think harder and that's when BAM!!! I ran into a tree."Sonic,Sonic" a familiar voice said. My vision was still blurry from hitting the tree. When my vision finally cleared I realized it was Tails,my little bro. "Are you ok?",he asked.
"Yah, I'm fine", I groaned
"You need to be more careful", Tails said
"I know", I replied
"And watch where you're going", He rambled on
"Jeez,You sound like my mom" I joked
Just before Tails could say another word I grabbed him and ran us back to our hut in Knothole. I ran so fast we didn't have time to stop and crashed right into Sally Acorn."SONIICCC!!!", she yelled
"Yikes,lets get out of here little bro", I said.and we were off in a sonic second. That's when I saw it and crashed!
Chapter 2
Sonic P.O.V
I open my eyes only to see bad-niks everywhere and a knocked out Tails beside me. I see two bad-niks held me down as Robotnik walked in. "You thought you could get rid of me didn't you hedgehog", Robotnik hissed
"Robuttnik, Why are you even here?!", I snarled as I tried to free myself from the restraints.
"I am here to make you suffer",Robotnik answered
"How do you suppose you do that ", I said,"I am Sonic the hedgehog hero you can't break me."
"I not going to torture you I will start with your friends first.", He said as he walked over to the fox. Now,I was really struggling to get free I was practically screaming now. Robotnik walked over to Tails and put knife on his chest. I was screaming and struggling to get free. I never once opened my eyes.
Tails P.O.V
Sonic shaking and screaming as if he was having some sort of nightmare and thrashing as if he was in restraints. I flew to Sally's hut as fast as I can."Hello Tails",she said.
"Sally *pant* its Sonic", I managed to get out. She stopped for a second and started running towards the hut he had crashed into. He was still thrashing and screaming.
Sally P.O.V
I saw Sonic and quickly ran over to him. I started shaking the hedgehog saying,"wake up,wake up." I ran him to the hospital hut not to far from here.
Sonic P.O.V
I opened my eyes finally only to see I was in a hospital hut. "Where am I?",I asked.Then Sal and Tails ran over to me and hugged me as if I died."What happened?",I stuttered.
"Sonic,you were having some sort of nightmare",Sal said,"the real question is what happened to you." I stopped and looked at her with worried eyes. "I...I saw badniks and robotnik and...and", I couldn't get the words out of my mouth."And what Sonic?", She said worriedly.
"And he had me held down and was going to kill Tails and...", I was interrupted by Tails,"I think had a nightmare while you were knocked out."
He was right it was just a nightmare or was it?Something was telling me it was a sign of something but what?
A/N How do you like? Not to shabby for my first book eh. Was it a dream? Will Sonic trust his instincts?So many questions unanswered. Oh my gursh potatoes what will happen next?!?!
Chapter 3
Sonic P.O.V
I sat there for a second thinking. Until, Sal snapped her fingers right in my face stopping my train of thought."Sonic?",she asked,"Is everything ok?"
"Uh...Yah everything is cool", I stuttered trying to hide my nervousness but failed.
Sally P.O.V
I knew he was hiding something."Surreee", I said,"What are you really thinking about?" He was silent for a long time.
Sonic P.O.V
She is on to me I got to think of a way out."Yo,Sonic",she said impatiently. I was frantic I had to find a way out of here.I can't let her know I am scaredddd!!!! Plus,she will think I'm crazy if I tell her my suspicions. "Gotta run",I said hurriedly as I ran out the door. I am going where I can think like...like am abandoned factory in Robotropilis.Its not the best the place but no one will find me here I can think.
Sally P.O.V
Now,I know he defiantly hiding something."Tails,gather all the freedom fighters",I ordered,"NOW!!"
"Got it",he replied

Chapter 4
Tails P.O.V
Sally ordered me to gather all the freedom fighters...just to find Sonic? I spaced out up until the point she yelled,"NOW!" I sprang to my feet and off I flew. Now, where did Sonic go? I don't have time for thinking I have to do as ordered. I still wonder why she needs everybody.
Sonic P.O.V
I sat and thought for long time is all I know. I kept trying to remember our last battle. I was the only one left standing.
Flashback
"You won't win this",I screamed. I went to go do a spin attack and all of a sudden BOOM! I was on the ground in seconds."What happened", I muttered...
Back to the present
I heard a twig snap and automatically went into a fighting stance."Who's there?",I stuttered trying to hide my fear. "I said who's there?",I yelled again.
?: Why hello,Sonic.
Sonic:Who are you?
?:I am your worst nightmare *evil laughter*
