DragonBorn's Pov
"Let me see if I can find you your book, Miss. Wait, I know you," the kind gentleman said. "You're making a mistake," I try to calmly say. "Ya, you're Ahzira the famous bar fighter in all of Tamriel, the one, and only Ahzira. So, why do you want a book on Skyrim unless... No, you can't go... They will kill you!!" The young gentleman begged me not to go. "Ak'aksa, I have chosen my fate long ago and you can't change my mind, now if you want to go, you can but I will not be saving you always," I say as I grab my book and walk out the library and head to my house.
"My Desert Flower Ahzira, come give your dying grandfather his last hug before you go and before I die," my grandfather says weakly. "G-G-Gra-Grandpa, I will see you in Sovngarde when I die," I say holding back my tears and hugging him one last time before I go to Skyrim. (I know Sovngarde is a Nord's thing, but I think all races should be able to go there when they die). "My Desert Flower promise me something... When you get into Skyrim... Show them who is the boss and live happily... Get married, adopt kids, and be your own hero... I love you Ahzira." My grandfather says as he begins to die.
"I promise you, that I will live a long happy life just like you did J'averr. I will die for your name and Grandma's name. You were the only family I had since my parents died when I was so young. Grandma died when I was only 7 years old. G-good-bye J'averr."
"Goodbye my Desert Flower, you know Ja'rra would have told you the same thing. Until next time we see each other in Sovngarde." My grandpa says as his breath gets weaker and weaker until it all stops. I begin to cry and I sit next to his body until I hear a knock at the door.
To my surprise, it was Ra'sha my best friend and Ak'aksa my friend that I met at the library. They said that it's time to bury my grandfather next to my grandmother. As we are head to the cemetery, they say that they are coming to Skyrim with me if I like it or not. I start smiling and we finally arrived, I put my grandfather's coffin in the hole and we start burying it up. I say my last words and we head home for the trip that will change our lives forever.
"Ra'sha and Ak'aksa, are you sure you want to go to this land with me, I can't promise you that we will ever see our land again. As long as both of y'all are cool with possibly never coming back, I will meet you on the ship." Ra'sha chimed in,"We are sure we want to go to Skyrim with you. I always dreamed of running away to Skyrim and never go back to Elsweyr. I will never leave your side on this journey." Ak'aksa also chimes in,"I guess I am coming also, someone needs to keep an eye on the both of you."
The three of us boarded the boat and we began to set off for adventure. The trip took three days, it was the longest three days of my life. "Skyrim is in our sights so you unworthy Khajjit get off my ship!!" The Nord captain said when the boat hit land.
Ak'aksa and Ra'sha walked off the boat and said that they are glad that they are off that miserable boat. "Hey, be glad that he brought us here and didn't throw us off the deck in our sleep. I mean, he was rude and all but we got here in one piece." I say trying to brighten their spirits.
We see a caravan of Khajiit outside Solitude being picked on by a guard. I ran over to them and when the guard turns around he seemed surprised. The guard said,"Turn around be on your way and forget any of this ever happened. The guard turns away to head back to his post, but you go to the caravan and ask them if they are ok. "Why thank you miss for helping us, I am Ma'dran and the others are Ma'jhad and Ra'zhinda and you are?" "I am Ahzira and these are my friends Ak'aksa and Ra'sha." "May your road lead you to warm sands," Ma'dran says as we leave to go into Solitude.
(This is my very first fan fiction book, so I hope you liked the first chapter).
