The new beginning

~~~ Chapter 2 ~~~

Hey guys......

Sorry that I haven't updated for quite a long time....

Busy with school...... By the way, if you have time to spare, please read the previous chapter again... I've made a few changes....

Recap:

  There were two inner rooms in our room and each of the inner room had two beautiful beds fit for royalty.....God......!!!!! It was beautiful...... Jake took the inner room and I took the outer one. We drew the blinds, wished each other good morning, set alarms in our mobiles and went to sleep like the rest of the household.

I woke up to the sound of Jake's voice. He was singing!!!!! Why??...... Ah! 'Cuz today's gonna be a brand new beginning. I swiftly woke up, wished my brother  good morning, and stepped into the shower. I must admit, the shower was beautiful. A large tub, with golden taps and the bathroom in itself was the size of the inner room that Jake chose. I quickly took in the sight before me and stepped into the tub and let the water run. Jake's voice rang out from the other side of the bathroom, " Hey Ruth, are ya comin' or not? We need to have breakfast and get going to school." And I heard a squeal, apparently from Jake. I giggled and replied, " Yea, will be there in a minute Jake." " See ya at the breakfast table."

I quickly showered and went out and took out my clothes from my luggage. I decided to wear a white crop top and my skin fit black jeans which was to go along with my black stilettos. It was one of my favorites. I admired myself in the mirror for a moment and spoke to my reflection, " WOW!! You look chic enough!!!" I giggled to myself and went out the door. From the dining hall, I heard sounds of laughter and as I approached the room, I saw Jake, Ben, Bella, Mrs. Evans and Mr. Evans seated around the table. Ben was the first to notice my presence." Woah!!! You look gorgeous!!" Only then did the others notice me. I could feel the heat growing in my cheeks. I muttered a thanks and sat down beside Jake. Soon I forgot about it and was helping myself to a hearty breakfast and a really interesting conversation with Mr. Evans and Jake. I suddenly heard a yelp. I looked up in astonishment to see Ben's face turned up in a scowl at his mother and sister, who were both giving him a death stare. Here's the whisper like conversation they had(which I supposedly overheard):

Ben: What was that for?

Mrs. Evans: Stop staring at her and eat your breakfast!!

Ben: You could've told me that!!!!

Bella: We did.... Only thing is ..... You didn't respond.

Ben: Oh!!!!

*** PAUSE ***

Ben: Well, both of you needn't have kicked me........!!!!!!

Bella and Mrs. Evans: Maybe....!!!!

Soon we were done with breakfast. I went up to Mrs. Evans and said, " Thank you so much for the breakfast Mrs. Evans. It was great!!" Mrs. Evans gave a warm smile hugged me and said, "No need to thank us Honey. We are family now." That felt warm!!! " And don't call me Mrs. Evans. Call me Amanda. I prefer that. And you can call my husband Philip." " Thanks a lot Mrs....... I mean, Amanda!!"

With that the four of us, Ben, Bella, Jake and I got a goodbye hug and a kiss from Amanda, and we were on our way to school.

" Guess you guys don't mind walking to school?" It was Bella.

"Not at all Bella. I love walking."

"What about you Jake?"

" Yeah, I do too!"

Well for a fact, Jake doesn't like exercise much, but he knows he's gotta do it for getting the hot girls flanking him, and as far as I could see, at the moment, Bella was on my brother's list.... And I guess I am on Ben's......

God!! This is gonna be an awkward yet awesome stay... And I'm sure of it......
