Naomi's POV
I'm sitting on my white flower pattern couch infront of a large glass window, staring at my watch, then at Shawn's garage door, waiting for the perfect time to start walking to school with him. I see him walking out of his garage and I stand up, going to get my sneakers.
"It's 8:00am and you're just gonna pace around?" my mom says and I jump slightly being scared.
"Oh, I-i w-was just about to leave, school starts soon so I wouldn't just stand here and do nothing." I say back to her with an awkward face.
I open the door quickly and leave the house to feel a cool breeze.
"Have a nice first day!" My mom says, I wave to her and she closes the door quietly.
I walk infront of Shawn's home to see If he's still by his garage but there's no one. I make a few turns and look around. I see him, waving at me. I start running to him and when I look up he's already smiling even though I'm not there yet. I'm panting when I reach him and he chukles.
"Exersizing in the morning?" he says smirking.
"Excuse me? I'm already fit." I say in a playful voice.
We both laugh and start walking on the school sidewalk. "It's been a while since we last hung out, I'm pretty glad that spring break isn't three weeks long." I say as we start speeding up the walking pace.
