Emry walked to the front doors of the school. She could hear the whispers from the students as they realized they were going to have a new student.
'I guess in small towns they don't really get many new students' she thought. She remembered when she was in school here they had only gotten one new student in the four years.
She held her head high as she walked through the students to the front office.
"Uh hello. I'm Emry and I need my schedule." She said politely to the lady at the desk.
"Oh Emry! Here you go. Your home room is the door across from here!" She said pointing out the door.
"Okay thanks." Emry says as she walks away.
As she walks out of the office the bell rings and all of the students rush to there lockers.

Emry looks at the paper to see that her locker is number fifty-nine. She quickly finds her locker and tries to unlock it.
"4-11-44" she muttered as she turned the nob "why isn't it working?" She asker herself as she gets frustrated
"You have to move it the other way" a voice said behind her. She turned to look but only saw a red head walking away from her and down the hall way.
She shrugged and opened her locker.
Inside was an old looking book.
She picked it up and went to open it but then the second warning bell went off. She put it back in along with her backpack.
She shuts her locker and runs to her homeroom.

By the time she gets there almost all of the seats were taken.
She walks to the teacher "hello. I'm emry. The new student." She mumbled

"Okay. Go sit down" the teacher said rudely
Emry stood still "i can sit anywhere?" She asked and the teacher nodded.
She turned and looked at the empty seats. There was one next to nerdy looking boy, one by a huge jock boy and one by a red headed girl. She choose the girl. The walked to the back of the class where the girl was seated "is it okay if I sit here?" She asked hesitantly.
The red head nodded "go ahead" Emry smiled and sat down.
She gazed up ahead to see everyone whispering and looking at her.
She sighed and put her head on her desk "you okay over there?" The red head asked glancing at her
Emry nodded "yeah. I just hate being the new kid." She mumbled clearly annoyed
The red head smiled "it will get better. Don't worry about it. We just haven't had a new kid for years. Like since fourth grade" she said smiling "I'm Roslyn. But you can call me Ross." She said smiling
Emry looked up "Rozzy?" She asked with wide eyes
Roslyn frowned "what did you say?" She asked leaning away from her "oh. Sorry.. I used to have a friend named Roslyn. I always called her Rozzy. " Emry said ducking her head in embarrassment
Roslyn smiled "Are you Emry?" She asked getting excited
Emry nodded "yeah!"
"Oh my god! I haven't seen you in years!!" Ross said getting louder "since we were like" she paused to do the math
"Since fifth grade" Emry finished for her .

"This is so awesome! I can't wait to tell the others!" Ross said smiling
Emry paused "what do you mean?" She asked
"Oh you know Ryder and Ryann" Ross said speaking of Emrys old friends from when she was younger.
"Your still friends with them? All of you?" Emry asked smiling
Roslyn nodded "yup. We never stopped." She said smiling
"That's awesome!" Emry said "I assumed you all stopped being friends"
But at that moment the teacher started talking so Emry fell quite.

A few hours later lunch time.
Emry walked to the mess hall. She didn't go to the line instead she looked around for Ross.
"Emry! Over here!" A voice yelled out next to her.
She glanced over and saw Ross waving at her. She looked at the table as she walked over. There were two other people sitting there. They were twins. 'Ah that much he Ryan and Ryder. Boy do they look different.' Emry though as she looked st them. They were no longer the small geeky boys she had grown up with. They had grown up well. Both looked identical. They both had short brown hair, and brown eyes. They were really fit as well 'they must do sports' she though as she sat down next to Ross
"Hey guys" she said smiling at them
They just stared at her "this isn't Emry. Why did you lie?" Ryann asked glaring at Ross
Ross smiled "I swear on all that is holy this is Emry." She said trying not to laugh
Ryder glanced at Emry "this isn't her.. Her hair is too dark and she's too tan to he Emry." He said looking Emry up and down

Emry laughed loudly "oh really?" She asked smiling "if I'm not Emry then how do I know that you had liked the Smith kids?" She asked Ryder laughing when she saw there jaw drop
"The smith kids?" Ross asked "didn't they have a two boys?" Ross asked confused
Clearly Ryder hadn't told her his secret.
Ryder blushed slightly as Ross's head snapped up "oh my god." She said loudly
Ruder shushed her "don't be too loud" he muttered

Emry smiled "convinced yet? Or should I go on?" She asked
Ryder smiled "yeah. Your Emry all right." He said smiling
Emry glanced at Ryann who has been quite this whole time to see him holding his hands over his mouth to cover his laughing.
Emry smiled "oh stop it. It wasn't that funny" she said chuckling

After a few seconds they all calmed down. "So Emry how's life?" Ryann asked smiling
"No wait. I have a better question. Why did you move back?" A voiced asked from behind her.
Emry didn't even have to turn around. she would know that voice anywhere. "Hello Ashlee." She muttered
Ashlee glared at her as she turned around. "I asked you a question."
"Oh uh. I moved back because my father was killed" she mumbled quietly.
