Hey my name is Mattielyn Owens  but I'm called Mattie for short, I live with my father who owns a marine hospital, I'm in my last year of high school, I never missed a day and made all A's, the teachers call me the "perfect student" but there is nothing perfect about my life, I never knew my mother because my father said she died after I was born and I'm the only child, my only friend was Delilah which she was more like a sister to me, I used my free time to volunteer at the homeless shelter and the food bank, when I wasn't volunteering I was helping my dad out at the hospital and working at the aquarium, my hard work had started to become recognized by a few colleges and univerities wanting me to sign up with them, I hadn't really thought about going to college but my father insisted that I go that was until I met Luke, a surfer guy that lived by his own rules
