It was a long journey to get to
Mistral. Motorcycle or not, it was the fact of trying to locate it without a map that made it longer. There were times that there was no indication of Ruby's presence at all, so it was a guessing game on what path she might have taken. A little over a week passed before Yang finally pulled into the town, looking around at the area for any sign of her younger sister.

She traveled a little bit further down the road when she heard familiar voices nearby, and soon they were calling her name. Turning, she saw four faces she hadn't seen since the fall of Beacon. Jaune, Nora, Ren, and her little sister Ruby. She wasn't the only one who had a style change to their clothing. Jaune's was a little less noticeable unless you knew where that gold on his armor and shield came from.

Pyrrha.. Yang shook her head, pushing the memories of that night from her head before she parked and approached the four of them.

Opening her arms, Ruby ran at Yang first, nearly knocking her back with the force of her hug. "Yang! You're here!!" She peeped.

Yang smiled and laughed as she hugged her younger sister before pulling away. "Of course I am. I couldn't let you see Mistral without me."

The other three stepped up and each gave Yang a hug before Ren spoke up. "I see you have a replacement for your arm." He smiled warmly.

"This thing?" Yang rubbed the back of her neck with her other hand as she held up her robotic one. "Ah, yeah. I guess you could say that I 'needed a hand'."

Ruby put a hand to her face upon hearing the pun from her sister. It was a normal occurance with Yang, but it still could catch anyone off-guard. She smiled and was about to speak when Nora pointed to something behind them.

"Its Weiss!" She exclaimed, her words catching everyone off-guard before they turned to see the white haired female approaching them, luggage in hand.

They all went running towards her, stopping right in front of her as she sat her bags down. Her eyes were full of relief at seeing the people before her, looking at everyone before being bombarded with hugs from Ruby and Yang.

"How did you get here, Weiss? I thought you went home?" Jaune asked, motioning to the new dress that Weiss was wearing.

She sighed. "I did. But I snuck out. My father removed me as heir to the Schnee Dust Company and tried banning me from leaving the grounds of the manor. I was tired of it so I left." She said, straightening out her dress when the two sisters pulled away.

Everyone was shocked at the statement, staring at her with wide eyes for a moment, though it was hard to tell for Yang due to her sunglasses.

"We should find a place to stay and we can discuss everything over dinner." Ren said, earning nods of approval. It was different seeing him with his hair down, but the familiar pink streak was still there.

A few hours later, the six of them had placed whatever belongings in a hotel room and were sitting at a table in a small resturaunt. Yang and Weiss were almost in disbelief as Ren explained the fight the four of them went through with the Grimm thug had destroyed his home village and killed his parents. Nora gently placed a hand on his when his fist clenched on the table.

"So, you decapitated it?? A huge half man half horse looking Grimm?" Yang asked, leaning forward onto her right arm and resting her chin on her fist.

Nora and Ren nodded, Ruby and Jaune putting a hand on their shoulders to assure them that the Grimm no longer existed. "Yes, but if Nora, Ruby, and Jaune weren't there I wouldn't have been able to. So I'm thankful for that." Ren smiled at the three of them, visibly appreciating the fact that they helped him and were still there.

Yang sat back at this point, smiling at the fact that they were all together again. Yet, there was an undeniable ache in her chest as she remembered the one face that she hated being without. Blake. It shattered her when she found out Blake had just left without saying a word that night. No goodbye. No see you later. Not even a reason. It hurt her ever since, she just found different things to distract her from it. Yet, it wasn't so easy to hide it now that everyone was together again.

She swallowed thickly and swiftly picked up her drink, soothing the dryness of her throat. She resumed her attention to those before her for the rest of the night, laughing and catching up with them.

That evening, when they were all heading back to the hotel room, they stopped to look at something in a store window when Ruby looked behind them and gasped. The sound of feet approached as they all stood fully from what they were looking at, turning. It was the sound of heels and sneakers, indicating it being two people.

Yang was the last to turn around, her shoulders dropping when she made eye contact with the newcomers. She couldn't believe it, part of her didn't want to believe it. That part wanted it to be another dream. Another heartbreaking dream. Yet, it wasn't.

"Blake..?"
