The Letter || Kim Yugyeom ff.

The Note

"Aish, I'm so hungry," I entered the classroom after P.E. Turning to Kyong Ji Ae, one of my only friends here in school, I asked, "Hey! What do you want to eat later?"

"Seriously, Eun Hee, that's all you think about?"

"My stomach calls for food, so I have to satisfy it," I rebutted.

Ji Ae looks at me, disappointed and walks back to her table.

"Hey! Wait for me!"

I rushed up to her, and walked together with her. For some reaaon, the teachers placed us together, knowing that we would talk to each other and not pay attention, but whatever, I'm not complaining.

"Hey, what's this? Eun Hee, don't tell me you have a boyfriend without me knowing?" Ji Ae teased.

What is she talking about? I asked myself. Walking up to her, I grabbed the note she was holding.

"Ooo, it looks like a confession letter. I think its for you though. The person probably mixed up our seat and gave it to the wrong person," I shrugged.

Afterall, what are the chances of me getting a "love letter" from someone. I doubt it's for me. It's most probably for Ji Ae, afterall, who wouldn't like her?

She has such silky and smooth chocolate brown hair and beautiful caramel brown eyes. Not to mention her amazing personality and her brains. Honestly, I would kill to be her. But everytime I mention it to her, she would just brush it off, and talk about how I shouldn't be jealous of her looks and personality because apparently, "I am very cute, I just don't notice it." If you ask me? I say it's a load of bullsh*t.

"I don't think its for me though? Whatever, who cares? Open it and read it!"

Ji Ae's enthusiasm was contagious and I couldn't hold in my curiousity either, so I had to open it.

"HEY what are you guys doing? Don't leave me out!" I turned around to look for the source of the voice, to find a beautiful pale skinned girl and jet black hair and chocolate brown eyes.

"Aish Se Yeon, don't make it such a big deal! Someone left a letter on Eun Hee's table. We're just about to open it!"

Let me introduce you guys to Kim Se Yeon, another one of my close friends. She, too, is rather smart and like Ji Ae, has beautiful milky fair skin.

Honestly, out of us three, I'm the only tanned one, which I find rather unfair. I have caramel skin, but I blame it on the sports I play. I mean is it wrong to like the sun?? However, according to the Asian beauty standards, I often get laughed at for my tanned skin. My tanned skin was probably also one of the reason why I don't have many friends, but the main reason is most likely because I am a little too quiet and I don't smile a lot, thus having my resting face on. I was also unlucky enough to be born with a resting b*tch face, which meant I seem unfriendly and stuck up...how fun...

Anyway, I opened the letter and read it out loud for my friends to hear.

"Hello. Wow. I can't believe I'm actually doing this. Urmm hi. I like you. There's just something about you that makes my heart so captivated by you. I guess you first caught my eye when I saw how different you were from other girls. I liked how you ate like you never eaten before, like you were starving. I like how you act different from other girls, by loving sports and outdoor activities. I like how you don't put on any make-up and just go around with your natural glowing tanned skinned. I like how you don't care much for your reputation and just go around doing things that make you happy, like laughing as loudly as you want, and talking as loud as you like and running around with crazy hair and not even trying to fix it. I don't know why, but that's what caught my eye. For a while now, you have captivated me and I guess today is the day I get couragd to write this to you.
I like you, Cha Eun Hee, I really do.

"What. I'm confused. Someone explain?" I looked at my friends, both of them wearing the same expression I have on my face, they were, too, dumbfounded by what was just read aloud.

"Oh WOW...I TOLD YOU ITS FOR YOU!!!" Ji Ae screamed in my face, "and look!! He gave you food! You kept saying your stomach was your main priority and he clearly satisfied that need."

I mean, thats sweet and all but why me?

Urm hi guys, I apparently am able to also be awkward on wattpad :) YAY um this is the first chapter of my first book and I apologize for any horrible grammar and writing skills but thank you for reading. Im sorry for how short the first chapter is!! I promise I'll make the future chapters longer.
