redoing riverdale season 1

1x01 - pilot

hi. it's jughead. Jughead Jones. Now, I begin the story of how the little town of riverdale became a town worth bombing until it's in ruins. seriously, I would go to prison happily for conducting a mass murder in this place. I. hate. everyone.

The story began 7 years ago, the start of sophomore year. I'm now 22, but please imagine me as a 15 year old for the sake of the story. Imagine this: it's the day before the first day of school again, and the football coach has decided to do trials prior to school. He claimed that already having a team would put them at an advantage. A one day advantage. would Archie Andrews be dead right now if the coach had decided to just have trials as any other school would do, the next day? No, he probably wouldn't. Betty Cooper and Cheryl Blossom watched from the sides.

Betty was a nice girl back then, so innocent and sweet. A little crazy, a little psycho, but still sweet high school was her prettiest time, too. she had longish blonde hair (usually tied up but it looked better let down). She ruined her hair. She also ruined her reputation, her family and she shattered to pieces her beliefs. last of all, she ruined me.

The less said about Cheryl the better. What a bitch. What a monster. I could not hate anyone more if i tried, except maybe I hated my father just as much. She liked to blame everything on everyone, nothing was ever fault. Pretending to feel sorry for her and her fake mental illness really spoiled junior year. Lets not forget what she did to that witch in her junior year too, though that witch isn't much better. Cheryl used appearance to demand attention. She never understood that having extensive red hair and Kylie Jenner lips would make people like her. If you planned on killing a blossom child, you'd kill her. I certainly would.

I suppose it is her twin brother's fault that all this began. Jason, after two years of being captain, announced he was stepping down as captain of the bulldog's football team. In fact, he was stepping down off the team completely. Who could step up to be captain? There were two choices. Reggie mantle, or Archie Andrews. It took only one summer for Archie to suddenly become an option. Reggie was still on holiday (I'm british, don't kill me please) , and therefore could not make it to the trials. If Reggie had made it to the trials, maybe nothing bad would have happened to the town of riverdale. But he was.
Coach: This year, the captain is Archie Andrews, congratulations Archie.

This one sentence may have lead to the failure of this town, yet everyone applauded him anyway.

Archie: thanks everyone, but what about Reggie?
Coach: Sure, he has a spot on the team. But if he isn't dedicated enough to be here, he cannot be captain.

Everyone nodded in agreement. I'm sat here shaking my head in disappointment. Well done, coach, you just killed off half of riverdale

Kevin: Betty, that dress is a no.
Betty: Kevin, they've all been a no
Kevin: You have one left!
Betty: fine
Kevin: Don't give me attitude, Elizabeth, when you're the one calling me telling me it was an "emergency" .
Betty: Kevin, I've liked Archie since 2nd grade and you know how important this date is to me. I could finally be dating him. Also, never call me that.
Kevin: fine, but all I'm saying is if you don't wanna meet him looking like a tramp then you should probably listen to me.
Betty: Whatever, is this one any good? Let me guess, it's a no.
Kevin: Actually - it's a yes.
Betty: Really? Be honest with me
Kevin: Yes, pink totally suits you! Archie will love it.

In case you haven't guessed, Kevin is gay. What else is Kevin? He's problematic. He's the best friend of Betty cooper, although really Betty preferred most her other friends. Myself, Archie, Veronica. However, Veronica and Betty weren't really friends, were they? It was always a bit more than that. At least for Veronica.
