10:03pm Daehyun text to say he was outside You where definitely nervous, this is the first time you've been out since you and Jongup broke up. Maybe music, drinks and friends will help. I took one last look at myself before grabbing my bag and heading out. As soon as i stepped out the door i saw Daehyun leant against his sleek black Audi R8 I looked at him and scoffed, youngjae definitely wasn't with him. "So Mr fancy is taking his R8 to the beach?" I laughed running my hands along the bonnet toward him "Well youngjae tagged along with Himchan because he decided getting beer was more important so I decided to take this beauty, as it's just you and me" He was leant against the bonnet of the matte black car with a cocky smirk on his face. He knew this car was my favourite, I was so jealous when he got it. "Can I drive? Pleeeease" I begged, doing my best cutesy face "Uuh... hell no! I wouldn't let you touch my baby even if you payed me" I pouted shaking my head. He was so proud of that car, it was his dream car that he finally got. I knew I wasn't getting anywhere near that wheel any time soon.
"There there, I'll let you choose the music" He smiled putting his arm around my shoulder walking towards the passengers side He opened the door for me and went round to the drivers side and got in.
There wasn't anything between us,he was just always a gentleman. Well I have always had the tiniest crush on him, but I mean who wouldn't? He's tall, handsome, kind and he drives a killer car. What's not to like?
We drove out of my apartment complex onto the main road "Here" he handed me his phone "pick whatever" You scrolled a few times and clicked on a song Vixx- Shangri-la filled the car, daehyuns excitement soon became evident when a chorus of excited noises streamed from him. I looked at him as he sang along. His voice entranced me. It really was something else, he sounded like an angel every time he sang.
"Hello, helloooo? Earth to Y/N" He snapped me out of my daze, waving his hand infront of my face "Like what you see or something?" My cheeks flashed crimson red panicking, racking my head for something to cover with "Uuh no I was just thinking" i stutter, looking down at my hands "Mhmm. About me?" He raised his eyebrow and giggled like a little school boy "Shut up, no. Its just this will be the first time I'll seen Jongup since we broke up" "Ahh, well you'll be fine, I promise" he flashed a smile with his eyes still fixed on the road. Daehyuns promises always make me feel better, he's never broke one. Ever. When he says it, he means it.

We pulled into the parking lot infront of the beach Nervous was an understatement. My stomach was doing backflips, I could hear my heartbeat in my ears Daehyun broke the deafening silence "Come on, you'll be fine. You deserve to have a good time" he spoke shifting towards me "What do you mean? I'm fine" you shook your head looking away from him "You're not, i know you Y/N. Your doing that thing you do when you get nervous" he spoke softly, trying to make eye contact "I don't do that!" I laughed awkwardly. I do do that thing. God, it annoys me how well he knows me. "Look, nothing bad will happen. I'll stay with you, i told Zelo to keep an eye on him. You will be fine" he took my hand in his "You promise?" I whispered looking into his eyes for the first time "I promise" he smiled nodding
You took a deep breath, opened the door and got out.
