"They're running another experiment, aren't they?" said the girl, whose name was Jane.

"Sounds like it." I said in agreement, "I just wonder what..."

I looked at Daeshim. He was pale.

"Hey, Dae, it was just some guy we didn't know." I said to him, hoping it would help, although I've been told i'm not very sensible.

"No, no. It's not that." said Daeshim, holding his head, "It's just...What if it's that experiment."

I didn't move. I just looked at him. We didn't overhear that much, but evidence did point to it being something big and important like The Attachment. And the quote "Isn't it a bit too early to start that?" Perfectly supported it. The Attachment usually happened later into the year.

But then, why was it happening earlier. The Neuros's voice echoed in my head, "You know nothing of this situation."

Something special was happening. There had to be a reason.

I looked over at Daeshim, who was drained of all color now, but looking determined.

"If the Neuros lets me out, I'm gonna rip him from limb to limb." He said, looking at the door. I nodded. Even if we died, it was better than doing nothing.

The door opened slowly as our usual Neuros Guard let someone in. His usually blue scales were now slightly transparent, I guess this was being pale to the aliens. The guard looked at us and let in another Neuros, whose scales were pointing out so he looked a little like a porcupine and was breathing excitedly, it was speaking to another, larger Neuros, the same that I had seen outside my window. I made my face full of as much hate as I could. I glanced at Daeshim, he seemed terrified and was backing up slowly as the Neuros walked towards us. I wish he had held, the Neuros smirked.

"Now, now." Said the one I had seen before, "Whats with the dirty looks?" His voice echoed in the prison and several people awoke. He sounded very human compared to the voice we had heard before.

"Gee, I don't know?" I said sarcastically. I was scared, but I didn't want to show it. Jane was also throwing a look of disgust at it.

"You evil - rotten - demonic NEUROS!" She screamed at them. We wanted revenge, to get at the ones who did this to us, to ease our pain, to vent our anger.

The Neuros glared at her.

"How dare you. I am the Lord of the Neuros. Your god." He said coldly. His icy stare made me want to run away, to hide. I was afraid. Wait. I already knew I was afraid.

I kept on glaring at him, "as if we'd care."

He smirked again.

"I like you, what is your name, human?"

I was about to tell him to go drown himself, but our guard seemed to sense that I would get him in trouble and spoke up.

"His name, my Lord, is Corruption."

"Corruption?" Asked the Neuros Lord.

"Yes, his parents were unable to name him."

"Any, hmm, background on the boy?" asked the Lord.

They began talking in rapid Neurosan, and we couldn't catch anything.

They finally looked up and the guard looked upset and The already porcupine like Neuros now looked like he was inflating with excitement, looking like a puffer fish now. I was unnerved but I kept looking intensely hatefully.

"It seems to me that you're who I'm looking for...Corruption." Said the Lord.

Jane looked at me weird and Daeshim looked angry now.
