Where It All Begins

So I would like to start this by saying thank you for even clicking on my story! This is the first story I've written and am super nervous as to how it will come out... Adelaide was originally going to be played by Emma Roberts but I couldn't picture her as Emma.

Silence. That's all I hear as I sit alone on a fallen tree. The sun is setting, telling me it's time to go back to the pack house but I sit frozen in place thinking of the events of today.  My dad, Alpha James,  called me into his office to ask me to visit the Riverson pack tomorrow and I just can't help but to be nervous. I mean what kind of 17 year old girl wants to go and meet the Alpha family of the largest pack in America? I mean it's not like I don't know them, we've been family friends for years but still. And let's not forget the fact that I'm supposed to be helping to train some of their warriors? I still don't understand how my fighting skills out do those of their warriors but whatever floats their boat I guess.

"Addie." A male voice says from behind me making me jump and fall off the log. Sebastian, my brother, laughs while helping me up. "You seriously need to be more in tune with your senses."

I glared up at him, my 5'6" figure not even a match for his 6'3", "No, you just don't need to be sneaking up on me." I shove his chest as he continues to laugh. Douche.

"Maybe i wouldn't have to if you would just pay attention."

"I was paying attention", I scoff, crossing my arms over my chest and started walking back towards the pack house. Sebastian is quick to follow, taking the lead as his stride is double that of mine. We quickly make it back to the pack house, a three story house that despite its size felt cozy and quaint.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" Seb asks, holding the front door open for me and we enter the house. I just shake my head while looking down and ducking through a group of some teenagers who seem to just love hanging out in the hallway. While walking by one of the guys, Drake, decided to grab my waist, pulling me towards him so I'm leaning against him.

"Hey Addie, I was thinking that maybe I should give you your very own going away party. Just me and you." Drake whispers in my ear which is basically useless seeing as everyone heard him including Seb who turned to look at Drake with a murderous glare. Before stalking back over to where I was trapped by Drake who quickly let me go and even slightly pushed me away from him thinking that would save him from the wrath of a very overprotective soon-to-be alpha who believes that my life is being threatened.

He continued to get closer to him while Drake backed himself up against a wall, "I'm sorry what did you just say to MY little sister?" By this point the group of teenagers had scampered out of the entrance hall and Drake was literally shaking in fear.

"I-I-- Um uh- I uh--- Umm"

"Yeah that's what I thought" Seb growled out before turning away from him and walking back over to me, "Come on, I know you still have to pack so go do so and get something to eat when you're finished." By this time we had made it to my room on the second floor and Seb turned and walked away, probably to go finish up any last minute things before tomorrow.

I sigh, running my fingers through my hair before going to my closet and pulling out my two suitcases and throwing them on my bed before going back to the closet and started to shove everything i'll need into them. Once I was done with filling the suitcases I grabbed an old backpack and put all of my makeup and personal hygiene products into it. By the time I was done I was to exhausted to even walk to the kitchen so instead I just flopped onto my bed and crashed....
