Chapter 1 The first born

Avalon = Huge golden city ruled by Ender’s father.

 Chapter 1 The First Born.

                               ( Ender’s P.O.V )

Knock. Knock. KNOCK!

“Ughhhh I’m up.”

Knock!  

I’M UP! Ender walked over to the door and opened it. To his surprise Lexy was standing there,

“Oh, hey there.” Said Ender, yawning.

“Umm are you forgetting something today?” Said Lexy, smiling.

“Nah.” Said Ender turning around and walking back into his room.

“Ender, Yeah? The ceremony?” Lexy said.

“What? OHH!” Ender ran to his bed and grabbed his bright gold and silver sword, which he called Αλήθεια, which is Greek for truth.

Ender was the King's first born son, heir to the throne. He yelled “thanks” at Lexy as he ran down towards the throne room he saw his brother, Scar smiling very weirdly. I did not think much of it so I kept running To the throne room. as I got to the throne room people were now just starting to crowd in, I ran up the stairs to my father. sorry I said out of breath. I looked up to see if there was any shame in his face but he was laughing. I was late to My coronation too He said. but let's just say I was a lot later than you are Ender. I smiled and sat down beside him. After about fifteen minutes everybody was there and Father stood up. as you know I am getting old in age,He yelled to the crowd, The crowd laughed and as you know he said when I get older I have to pass down the crown and all that.And the rules are I have to pass down the crown to my first born son so that is why I am passing the crown down the Ender.He smiled and waved his hand for me to stand up beside him.as i did I couldn't help but smile ear-to-ear I wanted this ever since I was born I thought in my head.But as I did Ice a friend of mine wolf whistled at me. and laughter broke out again in the throne room. and so my father said as he took off his crown I make you. he wasn't able to finish as huge echoing boom came from the room next door. All went quiet with Wonder to see if they could figure out what it was without leaving the throne room. then it happened again and the back wall of the throne room collapsed people started screaming and running towards the exits. as I got back up from the force of the explosion I looked over at the area where the wall collapsed and I saw scar and a couple of his buddies standing there holding their swords out looking more evil I should say than usual.What are you doing I yelled as I helped father get up. he smiled at me and said I'm sorry brother but I just can't let you take the throne. Then another explosion happened behind me and sent me flying off the stage. So I will have to kill you if I want the throne so bye bye brother.

Ice and Lexy came over to me shouting we need to go he's going to kill you if we don't. so I got up with them took one last look at the throne room that was collapsing right before my eyes and me Lexy and Ice ran through the exit. after the dust ridden  air from the throne room taking my first breath when we got outside was like being able to Breathe Again. As we ran out of the building ice grabbed a sword from an oncoming guard and we sprinted towards the exit of the castle. Then we walked down towards the lake to see if there is any boats still there from fishermen who were in the throne room watching me so called getting coronated. there was one,a big engine fishing boat. I got on the boat then Ice got on,Lexy on the other hand stayed put at the dock.What's wrong? I asked her while I was starting the engine Isn't that stealing she said looking up at me? not if I'm going to get killed and my friends are going get killed since they with me, I said with sarcasm. then she reluctantly got on the boat with us.  ice talked for the first time from the throne room. why do you think your brother did that as we set course to the gates. I don't know I said it looking back at the smoking Castle I don't know. after that we all decided to take naps intern I had one of us stand guard and direct the boat in case scar found us.I let Lexy and Ice sleep in because I slept in obviously. it was nice and quiet on the lake as we slowly went towards the river we didn't want to have the engines on full bore because they made a lot of noise and we didn't want scar to be able to find us 5 minutes after we just Escaped him.as they got ready to take naps, I thought to myself why would scar do such a thing we are brothers he never showed any interest in taking the throne he just wanted to be the commander of the army. It was a couple hours later when Lexy and Ice finally woke up. how far away are we from the castle Lexy asked? About 10 miles i said. Were going Down the river heading towards the gates I said. we're going to the gates asked ice all of a sudden worried. well we can't exactly stay in the  territory I said looking at them i'm probably well wanted now horribly because he's probably already taking the crown from my father, and probably put a price on our heads to because he never really liked you Ice. Yeah I know said Ice probably shouldn't of put that bucket of water above his head so when he walked through the door he got soaked. yeah I said,he didn't like it but it still was really funny I said smiling. about 5 hours went by and we just talked and fixed the boat when it got off course. We need to go up to mount Evaria I said looking at Ice and Lexy. Why? Lexy said watching me. According to rumors thiers people that will help people in need on the top of the mountain I said to them.okay said Ice. Yeah Said lexy enthoustiacticly they could help us take back the kingdom! finally we reached the gates.I looked up at the gates I only seen them twice before the first was when I was 6 years old I decided to go on an adventure and that's where I got to before my father realized I had gone and tracked me down. and the other was when I was 13 my Father took me there to see the sites. Ender said Ice looking worried,theirs guards. Uh oh said Lexy. I grabbed the hilt of my sword as we got closer to the gates. But they nodded and opened them. Without asking for a licence. Wow i said as we passed through the gates i thought we would have fight. Yeah Ice said looking back. I looked at the map. Were almost there i said Lexy. Good she said staring at the setting sun. By the time we got to the village it was dark.

We walked up to the town Hotel to see if we could get rooms.we got stuck in one room so i bunked on the couch lexy got one bed, And Ice got the other. I fell into a dreamless sleep very easy.
