Getting Ready/Arriving

I was in my room on my laptop listening to my spotify playlist. I was browsing through my Facebook feed when suddenly... Beep Beep. It was a message from my brother Jake.. 

"Hey Y/N. I was wondering if you were going to come to my party later tonight?" 

 I looked at the time, it was 3:26. I sighed. I guess I could go but I don't know what I would do... Maybe I could get one of my roommates to come with me. I decided I would reply once I asked them.

I got up from my chair and went out of my room into the hallway. Beside my room is my cousin Hannah's. Across from ours is our roommates Gena and Kolette. I knocked on all three of their doors but no answer.. I thought that maybe they were downstairs. I was halfway down the stairs when I heard laughter. Yep, I thought to myself, someone's home. I ran down towards where the laughter came from and saw all three sitting on the couch watching a movie. 

"Hey" I called out.

 "Oh hey Y/N, didn't hear you come down the stairs. Whatcha doing?" Kolette said, turning her head to face me.

 "Um well I was looking for you guys. I didn't know you guys were down here watching a movie without me." I felt kinda sad. I wanted to spend as much time as  I could with the girls before I go to Paris. 

"Oh sorry, we figured that since you were in your room with your door closed, that you were doing something important." Kolette says, looking innocent. I really didn't know what to say to that.

"Oh well.. I guess. I was just listening to my music and browsing Facebook... That's all." I said looking down at my feet. 

"Y/N, you look like you have something to say... What's wrong?" Oh that's right, I forgot.

 "Um I actually have something to ask all three of you. I need to know your plans for tonight. Jake invited me to his party, and I don't want to go alone..."

 I sighed and looked up at Kolette. "I can't come, I'm sorry. I have a date with Sean. And I think Gena has to go see her sister. Maybe Hannah can.." Kolette turns to look at Hannah who was oblivious that I was in the room.

"Hannah, are you listening to any of this?" Kolette grabs her arm which makes her turn to look at her with a confused look on her face.

 "Whaaaaaat do you want? Can't you see I'm trying to watch the movie."

 "Damn, Hannah.. Y/N wants to know if you have any plans tonight?" 

"No, why?" I cut in before Kolette says anything else.

 "Jake invited me to his party and I really don't want to be alone. Plus you can scout for any cute guys" I say trying to sound excited.

 "Fine, I'll go only because I want to get out of the house. We need to go get our things together... But um question, when is the party?" I looked down at my phone and realized that we've been talking for 20 minutes. It's now 3:46. 

"Um it starts at 7:30. But since he's family, we can go early." I smiled and hoped that she would take forever to get ready. 

"Oh okay let's go pick a dress out." 

"Hannah, I don't have any nice dresses to wear.. I need to borrow one if you don't mind." I said as I started up the stairs. 

"You can wear this dress I think I still have.."

" We stopped in front of her door as I heard my phone beep again. 

"Y/N? Are you coming or not?"  Shit i forgot to respond.
