Not everyone out there is destined to be your friend, and that's okay. Or maybe you're friends with someone and then that friendship ends, but it just proves they were never supposed to be there in the first place.
We can't please everyone, and for some people that's a sucky feeling, for others, they may not care. Everyone is different. But we are not born to please everyone and everywhere we go there is always going to be someone who doesn't like us, but that's okay! Not everyone is destined to love us and not everyone is destined to hate us. A lot of the time though, the good friends outweigh the negativity of the others who don't like us.
I've been through my fair share of trashy experiences and wishing I could please everyone and wishing everyone could like me. It took me a long time to realize that I am one person, there are 7 billion of us out there and I cannot please everyone single one of those people and make them like me. But I don't have to!
Sometimes we have experiences with people who pretended to be our friends but really they weren't, and unfortunately, life just works out that way sometimes and it's not very nice, but if you look on the positive side, it just proves who we can and can't trust. And it's better to cut things off sooner rather than later.
This one goes out to the people who try so hard to please everyone and be their friends; stop swimming oceans for people who won't even step in puddles for you. Stop putting in 100% for people who don't retaliate. Some people are just super unappreciative and that's the way some people are sometimes.
Always keep in mind that a small group of real friends are much better than a large group of fake ones. As long as you have people you can trust and people you know will always appreciate you, that's all you need my love.
You cannot please everyone, not everyone is your friend, not everyone is going to appreciate you or your efforts. But that's okay, be your own friend. Trust yourself and love yourself, it will beat anyone else being your friend. And remember, it's life and it's the way it works. But you will beat this, and we're all in this together.
