In the cold comfort of a large Manor, sat a family, dining.
Two of which who were men, possessed locks of white-blond hair.
The woman who ate her dinner quietly, had dark hair and worry within her eyes.
The woman's eyes averted from her food to the eyes of the older man, her husband.
"Clydol, I believe we have a certain matter to discuss with Sacree," she spoke eagerly.
"I'm aware, Coria, thank you." Clydol, for that was who the man was, acknowledged with a small smile.
"Sacree, as planned we will celebrate the day of your birth tomorrow. You're too be 20... and married," Clydol started.
Sacree clenched his fist upon his fork and sighed heavily. "I know, Father. But too who if I may ask?" Sacree asked cautiously.
"You're to take the hand of that Gustermore girl. A partially new Pureblood family, but still pure," Clydol responded.
"Her name is Akira Gustermore and she's a lovely young woman," remarked Coria.
"Akira... Hold on. I happen to know that she is 5 years older than me. 5 years older!" bellowed Sacree.
"I will not tolerate the tone of your voice. You are to marry the bloody woman and produce an heir! I shall not hear of any more nonsense!" shouted Clydol.
"Please, Clydol. He's only frightened of the commitment. Aren't you, Sacree?" Coria pleaded.
Sacree's gaze wavered and he looked to his father once again. "Yes. Mother's right; It's gotten me a little shocked is all," said Sacree.
"Very well. Your Mother has already chosen the ring you are to place on Miss Gustermore's finger. You're to do this wh-" Clydol continued.
"Sorry Father, but can I be excused? I need a bit of air?" Sacree asked.
Clydol looked to Coria who nodded approvingly.
"Go then, but you must bring your elf," Clydol agreed.
"No it's alright Father, I don't need it" Sacree assured.
"I insist. Call upon it," Clydol ordered.
Sacree hesitated but nodded. "Glisty," Sacree voiced aloud.
A petite elf appeared in only seconds beside Sacree.
"Master Sacree has called Glisty. What is it Master wants Glisty to do?" she asked, it coming out croaked.
"Follow Sacree out. Go Elf," Clydol demanded.
Glisty nodded and shuffled off beside her Master as he walked off.
The two had made their way out of the Manor and towards the farthest garden.
Glisty toyed with the fabric of her covering. "Where is Master Sacree going Glisty wonders?" Glisty squeaked.
"Shut it Elf and go away," Sacree hissed.
"But Master Clydol insisted I follow Mast-" Glisty began before being hit.
"Glisty is very sorry for upsetting Master Sacree," Glisty said, standing to her feet.
"I said go!" Sacree growled.
"Glisty can n-" she pleaded but Sacree had his hand clutched upon her throat as he held her up to his eyes.
