Freya couldn't remember what happened to her and her crew, or where they even landed. The purple sand underneath her feet felt wet and soft, and her shoes left imprints when she walked across it. The ocean in front of her was a fluorescent blue color under the cloudless sky of a pale shade of teal. Nobody was it sight, as she could easily have observed.

"Am I dead?" she thought to herself. "Are they dead?"

Freya was in fact alive, but only she survived. She could smell a strong scent of smoke on the air and followed her nose to it. It was her ship, similar to the shape of an airplane. The nose had been separated from the rest of the ship, along with the cockpit. All that was safe to enter was the seating compartment where all of the crew's supplies were being stored. So, being her brave self, Freya entered the compartment and gathered anything she could possibly need into a backpack.

"Where is everybody? Where am I?" Freya mumbled, half whispering as she did so.

Ragantu (Rag-aun-too) was what the planet she had landed on was called. It was somewhat Earth-like, though having its obvious differences being in a different galaxy. Freya knew nothing about this planet, though she could at least use her common sense. She had lived on Earth for the first few years of her 26 years of life, Mars for the rest. She had practically grew up in space, so the atmosphere wasn't deadly to her. Trying to radio for her crew, Freya wandered through the forest of strange looking trees. The trees were thin and came in so many colors ranging all around the color wheel from red to a dark purple. The flowers were tall and larger than the trees themselves. They looked like tulips, but had petals like daisies. Eventually, she gave up with the radio and decided to rely on her vision and sound senses.

"John? Wayne? Garrett?" she shouted.

Nobody responded. Freya then realized that she was alone in a strange world with strange beings that could easily kill her. This world didn't seem hostile, though. The colors made everything peaceful and calm, and everything seemed to live in harmony. Freya wandered around for a while and began to grow tired. She sat down under the nearest tree and rested her legs for a bit. As soon as she was drifting off to sleep, someone or something appeared in front of her, Freya couldn't tell the difference.

"Hello there. What brings you to this planet?" it said and it made Freya scream. The person in front of her was evidently a woman, given her human-like, female figure. She had blue skin in the shade of cotton candy, pink hair that reached her knees, and large eyes that were a bright green color. She was quite tall, and skinny too. The few clothes she had on were white, only covering what was necessary. She wore a beaded headband across her forehead, almost representing that of a Native American's. "It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you."

"Who-What, are you? How do you speak English?"

"My name is Nen'a (pronounced Nina). I'm a Ragantuan. Our species speaks the language of the humans as well as our own language. What might your name be miss?" Nen'a spoke with such a pleasant voice, that you wanted to hear her talk more.

"F-Freya. Freya Porter." she stuttered.

"Where do you come from?" Nen'a said sitting down to be at Freya's level.

"Mars, but Earth originally."

"Were you in the last group to be sent to Mars?"

"Y-yes. I was."

"What was it like?"

"Earth?" Freya asked and Nen'a nodded in reply. "Well, it was completely chaotic. People were dying everywhere. The only thing they could do was get the immune out and to a safer planet."
