I wake up, all I see are lonely gray walls, a single small window and a locked metal door. "Brother!", I exclaimed, but all I heard was the echoes of my own voice. I realized that I wasn't in my brother's apartment anymore. The room I was in looked like a jail cell, only a bed and a toilet in it. I think about where am I and why I'm here. But while I was thinking, I slowly see a figure approach the window on the door of my cell. I realized they must have come to give me food. The figure slid down a plate with only a few biscuits and some water. I asked him "Where am I?", he didn't respond. I just assumed that I was in a prison. I quickly ate the meal and started thinking about my situation. I figured that I may have done something for them to detain me. I spend a few days in the cell, thinking my brother would soon come for me. As more days pass by, I realize that my brother won't always be there for me. He probably doesn't even know where I am. So I thought that I should take this into my own hands. I started thinking up a plan on how I was gonna leave this place. Then I realized it, there was a vent in my cell. I thought about how I would be able to leave through it without being found out. I planned to go through it at about midnight, less visibility means I'll be less likely to be caught. I waited, only thinking about my brother as time swayed on. It should be around midnight now, I climbed through the vent. I keep going for a while, trying to find an exit. Then, I find the laundry room, I drop down hoping I won't get caught. I peek outside the room, there are about five or six guards in the hallway. I pass through when they're not paying attention, moving like a shadow. I find the exit door, the outside is heavily guarded. There are too many guards I can't go through undetected. I then spot a pipe likely going through the sewers. I whisper to myself "oh well" and dash outside to the pipe. As soon as I step out a barrage of bullets try to go for me. One almost hit, grazing my face.
I go through the sewer running, it smells ransid, cockroaches and rats everywhere, I say to myself "Don't give up, you have to see your brother". I manage to pass through it. I climb up a ladder going through a bustling city. I read a sign "Queens, New York", I whisper to myself "Queens eh". I pass through a tv shop while walking, I see myself on it, "Wanted, $10,000 reward for capture". News of my escape has spread fast, I better lie low for now. Many people will likely be after me, I need to find my brother and find out what's going on.
