"It's getting chilly outside, don't forget a coat." My mother whispered to me from behind me, making me slightly uncomfortable. She and I both knew what would happen if she and I were any louder than a whisper, another day another beating, or at least that's what it felt like. "Bye mom." I say slipping my coat on over my black long sleeve shirt, and closing the door not waiting for a response. As soon as I'm far enough away from my hell of a house I put in my headphones and click my school playlist. Waiting at the end of an ally for my bus wasn't the most favorite thing in the morning, but it was better than what happens any other time of the day. Pushing my h/c behind my ear I look down the street to see my bus climbing up the hill slowly to reach my stop. A familiar screech comes from the old, worn down bus, doors opening I step on. "Good Morning Y/n." my bus driver Jennifer smiles at me, "Morning ." I reply waving slightly, heading to my usual seat at the back of the bus. Noticing on my way back nobody else is on, not very strange as I am the third stop. The bus goes on with its rout of twists, turns, and stops. A couple other people get on not many people today, mostly middle schoolers with sleep still in their eyes as they have to wake up earlier than normal. The bus makes it to my High School, I can already feel the dread slip over me, not wanting to proceed with my day of bullying and depression.

Entering the school I go to my locker, entering my combination with speed, 5-23-15, I say in my head, then lifting the handle to grey locker. Books in order from class to class sit waiting to be used, is if saying, "Please take us with you!" I smile slightly and proceed with putting my lunch box in my locker then adding a pen to the front pouch of my book bag, zipping it, closing my locker, and getting pinned to my recently shut locker. "Where do you think you're going cum slut?" Zach spits at me while laughing, looking to his group of friends for reassurance, I keep my head down and quietly say "Somewhere that shouldn't concern you, I haven't done anything to you." gulping after I speak. "Did you hear this bitch guys? She thinks she hasn't done anything." Zach laughs pushing me to his left, letting me leave his grasp. Then whispering close to my ear, "You got lucky that there are cameras in this hallway slut, watch your back later." then walking away with his cliche. I sigh and start to walk down the hallway then turning toward the corridor toward the cafeteria, awaiting me are my friends Kennedy, Jess, Harlie, and Sam. Harlie, a preppy, uptight whore, who constantly talks behind my back to Jess, Sam and Kennedy sharing a rice cake, look at me happily. "EE BB!" Sam yells, giggling while taking another bite of rice cake, making me smile for the first time today, with Sam, Kennedy, and Jess are when I'm the most happiest. "What up my bitchesss." I say in between laughs at the look on Kennedy's face at what Harlie was wearing. "Anyway, Jess and I have some very interesting info on a certain boy who walks by this table everyday...... that looks at you.... No? Still not getting the hint?" Kennedy says with a evil look on her face, "Well JOEY, the boy who walks by our table everyday staring at you, was broken up with last night." "Hmm very interesting indeed." I say with sarcasm. "Y/n!!! This is your chance, girl dm that boy right now." Kennedy says folding her hands together and scolding me with her hazel eyes. "I would but we don't even know for sure that he even likes me!" I say getting mentally exhausted already. "How about before the end of next week?" Jess chimes in with a smirk on her pale face, "Okay maybe, BUT only if he shows more interest in me through this week." I state sighing afterward. They all cheer and smile, the warning bell to first period rings and we all say our goodbyes and I'm off to my child development class with harlie, but she skips like usual leaving me alone with two other freshmen, 4 sophomores, 8 juniors, and 3 seniors. Class goes on like normal people silently talking among themselves, taking notes on whatever we are learning in class that day and sitting alone, listening to whatever music my spotify playlist wants to play. Second period rolls around, and my history teacher puts the class in groups of 4. Of course I get paired with 3 very popular kids who don't like me at all, at one moment I had only one earbud in and I heard snickering then "Ew you have to sit with Y/n! She's such a fucking freak!" I know right like I would much rather sit with you!" I put in my other earbud, I didn't want to hear anymore of it. I knew it would only get worse from there, I just worked silently and alone the whole period nobody talking to me, just pointing and laughing. The rest of my classes were similar, same assholes, same drama, same boring classrooms that I didn't want to be in. I just wanted to go outside be by myself, in the woods that are so peaceful and quiet that you can hear all of nature.

~Le time skip to ninth period~

Just 10 more minutes till 2:20, Y/n you can survive, I say to myself while looking at the clock hung on the wall of the band room. *bell rings* "Finally freedom" I say to Jess as she puts her tenor saxophone away, smiling at me "Well we are only a little bit free." "Very true my dear friend." Her and I laugh as we head to the buses heading to opposite sides of the parking lot, I climb on the bus finding an open seat and putting in my earbuds. A part of me was sad that I had to go home but another part of me never wanted to be at school again. The bus goes through it's usual rout dropping me off at the ally and my music half way up, loving the alone time. I pull out my keys and unlock the door to find my mom and dad yelling at each other over bills, divorce, and many other things, stopping as soon as they see me. "Looks like your fucking daughter is home why don't you bitch at her and not me." my dad shouts pointing at me. My mother just stays quiet, not looking at me or him. I walk and open the fridge grabbing a apple juice box from the bottom drawer and an orange from the top shelf. "I'm going to go on a walk." I say quietly to my dad, closing the fridge. A hard slap across my face, I should have seen it coming. "Don't be fucking late you have till 7" My dad says with a scoff, then goes into the living room. My mother checks my face, worried and frantic. "I'm fine mom, I promise." I whisper to her, hugging her tightly. "It will be better soon honey, I'm trying, I really am Y/n." she says with a sigh and kisses my cheek. Then motions me to go outside. Closing the door behind me I walk to the  nearest park, sitting on a bench I open my juice box and peel my orange, throwing away both when I finish them. As I throw them away, I see something, more like someone staring at me from the woods.
