"Lucy hurry up or were going to be late." Calls my best friend Lacie who is waiting down the stairs.
Will you chill out? We still have some time left.
"Yeah, like thirty minutes left."
Exactly, so just sit on my couch and chill out for like 2 minutes. I say as I pull on my black combat boots.
As soon As I walk down the stairs, Spencer and Lacie are already waiting for me.
When did you get here? I inquire.
"While you were upstairs trying to look cute as always."
He flashes a super star smile at me.
I have never noticed it before but for some reason Spencer's hair looks amazing today. His blonde hair goes with his grey eyes and broad shoulders.
When I snap back to reality Lacie is literally dragging me by my hair, powerwalking me to the door.
"What was that? Lacie asks in a tone like my mother would.
What was what? I ponder in response.
Lacie whips her curly, brunette hair in my face and looks at me with her dark, brown eyes like I stole her favorite nail polish.
"Thank goodness we made it on time."says Lacie with a sigh of relief when we get to sosh academy.
So uh, where's Spencer? I ask while were walking to my locker.
"Are you two a thing now? Presses Lacie.
Are you kidding? Be together with the same person who ate glue in the 3rd grade. I giggle as me and Lacie open our identical blue lockers that are next to each other.
"In his defense he was dared".
Yeah, but he... I start to trail off.
You've got a point. There's the bell. See ya in gym. I yell across the hall before skiping to my class, so I won't be late.
"See ya. I hear her holler back.
