"Sit up straighter, Louis William." Louis immediately complied to what his mother had said, setting down his mug for a quick second before picking it back up again, "yes m'am." He replied, glancing at his father who was coming down the stairs, suit on as he kissed Louis' mother on the cheek, "we're going to be having a guest over next week, my boss' trying to get a deal done with a company, and he's left me in charge with it, he'll be coming over Sunday, after church." Louis' family was a extremely religious, Louis was brought up in an extremely strict and religious environment, it was something that ran through both his parent's side, Louis didn't really mind it that much if he was being honest, it gave him order and organization. "Son, you'll be walking Luca today." The eighteen year old lad nodded watching the smoke arise from his mug before softly blowing on it, an attempt to not burn his tongue. Luca was Louis' twelve year old brother, he was attending the middle school two blocks from Doncaster high and most of the times Louis would walk him or Louis' mother would when Louis was to be at school a little earlier to get some studying done, or whatever it was. As if hearing his names Luca appeared in that moment, sitting down at the table and grabbing a plate, filling it with eggs and sausage.

After informing Luca about what was happening on Sunday and waiting for him to finish eating the two boy's left the house with their things, Louis was extremely glad this his school wasn't too far, he didn't know why but his parent's refused to buy him a car. His parent's weren't rich, but they weren't completely broke either, they were paid well enough to be a little bit over average, and they could've gotten Louis a car, but they chose not to. Louis had asked them about it once, but only got a meek response in return. Louis shook his head to rid of his thoughts as he glanced at Luca, "bye." He muttered seeing as they were at the school, Luca muttered a small goodbye as well as he made his way into the building, Louis made sure he was inside before making his way over to Doncaster High, Louis didn't hate school as much as his fellow peers, but he didn't love it either.

"Hey Louis!" Niall greeted, a small smile stretched on his lips as he closed his lockers, Louis did;t say anything opting for a smile as a response, he didn't know how or why was able to maintain such a preppy and carefree attitude all the time, "we have a new student." Niall suddenly brought up, his smile faltering a bit before it returned to normal, "um, people are saying that he or she are quite...rebellious." At Niall's words Louis lifted an eyebrow, "how so?"

"Well, there's rumors going around he or she got kicked out of their old school, and that they have tattoos...and even a nose piercing." Louis shook his head with a sigh, "you heard all these rumors but you still don't know if they're a boy or girl." An amused look was on Louis' face as Niall rolled his eyes not saying anything. To be honest Louis didn't know how to react to the news about the new student, the most rebellious things students did at Doncaster High was fall asleep during class, maybe it was because of the various amounts of strict teachers, or maybe it was simply because most of the people in the school were Christian.

Niall was Louis' best friend, they had known each other since the womb seeing as their families were friends before the two were even born, "what time is choir practice again?"

"16:30." Louis spoke, Niall didn't say anything after that and the two continued to class, trying to beat the bell like they usually do.

---

When Louis returned home he greeted his mother and then proceeded to haul himself upstairs, to say he was exhausted was an understatement. Louis and Niall ended up having the new student in some of their classes, Niall and Louis had identical schedules much to their fortunate luck. The new student did in fact have a few tattoos and a nose piercing, she had been quiet for the most part much to Niall's surprise, Niall had been expecting for her to be disobedient the whole time and put on a show for the class.

Louis let out a sigh of relief when the bell ran signaling the end of the class period, which just so happened to be their ending period. Students began to pile out of the room as Niall and Louis waited for the crowd to disappear before leaving the class room, the teacher sending them a smile on their way out.

"Can I come over after church on Sunday?" Niall asked, his eyes focused on something on his phone.

"No, sorry. Dad's having a guest over for work purposes." Niall looked up from his phone a bored look on his face at the sound of Louis' Sunday plans, "good luck sitting through that." Was all he said, there had been a time where Niall joined Louis' family for dinner and had brought a colleague from work to dinner as well, the whole night was filled with talks of business and boring chatter amongst Louis' parents and the colleague. Niall had possibly been more bored of the conversation than Luca that night, but Louis didn't blame him.
