Now or never

Chapter 1: That night

It was 5:30 on a Saturday Ashley and her sister Ella were cleaning up there house. Things had always been more quiet ever since there parents died in a car crash 7 seven years ago. Ella took the mom role always watching her little sister and making sure she was ok.

Ella works at a guitar shop well Ashley preforms at a bar almost every night. Ella always hated Ashley's job she never considered it a real job. But Ashley didn't care it is something she enjoyed and she wasn't going to let her sister ruin that for her.
"I'm off to the bar see you at ten"
"Ok dinner will be in the fridge when you get home"
"Bye L"
"Bye Ash"
Ashley walked through the cold empty streets rain drops hitting down on her. She just wanted to preform take her money for the night and leave. Ashley knew something was off about today she thought maybe it was the weather the rain always brought her down.

She walked in seeing the same old faces as usual. But one thing was different there was a man sitting at a table alone with a beer in his hand Ashley had never seen him here before. He looked about her age maybe a little older she caught little butterflies in her stomach he was cute.
"Ready Ashley"
The bartender Rob yelled
"Yeah I got something a little different tonight hope the customers will enjoy"
Ashley got up on stage and tested the mic to make sure it was working.
"Hi I'm Ashley as most of you may know by now for the regulars I got something a little different for you all tonight"
Ashley gripped the mic with her hand tight and began to sing.
"I don't wanna fight right now know you always right, now know I need you 'round with me"
The man examined Ashley up and down sending little chills down her spine. They locked eyes with each other his grayish brown eyes staring deep into her hazel green eyes.
"But nobody waitin' 'round with me been through the ups"
A few minutes later Ashley finished singing and got off stage collecting the money she had earned for the night.
"Your a good singer"
The man Ashely had noticed early came up to her.
"Thanks that's very kind of you"
"You preform here every night?"
"Yes usually"
"Well I can't wait to see what your preforming next"
"Before you go I never got your name"
"Andrew"
"Nice to meet you looking forward to seeing you in the future"
"Same with you bye Ashley"
He turned around and gave Ashley a little smirk and left. Ashley was very fascinated with Andrew he seemed some what mysteries but yet gentle and kind. Ashely hoped he would be there again tomorrow and that it wouldn't be the last encounter with him.

Ashley walked back home through the dark rainy night. She entered the apartment finding Ella on the couch watching tv.
"How was tonight's performance?"
"It went good there's this new guy there he's very handsome and kind"
"That's...nice"
"What's wrong you seem a little upset"
"Ashley just don't go falling in love"
" I won't god Ella I'm 22 I'm not a teenager anymore that you can boss around"
"I'm going to bed goodnight"
"Night"
Ella stomped off into her bedroom slamming the door. Ashley ate dinner and went to bed but had trouble falling asleep all she could think about was Andrew she wanted to know him more she wanted to see him. But her sister was already thinking negatively about him and she doesn't even know him and that was the one thing that bothered Ashley the most.
