I was shocked at what had happened no one has ever stood up for me before. The kid grabbed my arm "come on" he said calmly, walking to the door. He held the door open for me and we both walked down the sidewalk towards the parking lot of the school, that was at the right side of the building. "Thank you" I finally said looking at him, He smiled looking at the ground "Your welcome" He answered. "I'm Roxie, well my full name is Roxanne but everyone calls me Roxie." I said smiling at him. He still said nothing "And your name?" I asked slowly "Scott" He answered then continued pointing down the parking lot "I drove here so my cars down here." He said. "Oh okay see you later." I answered. Scott turned down the parking lot. He waved goodbye as I continued to walk down the sidewalk.
The next day I saw Scott walking up stairs, but that was it. At lunch I saw the girl that had said I had a nice bag and decided to sit next to her. She was sitting by herself today, usually she had the cheerleading team with her but for some reason not today. As I walked towards her she looked at me. "HI can I sit here?" I asked she nodded looking down at her salad. "I'm Roxie by the way" said setting my tray down at the table. "I'm Sam, your the new girl right?" she asked taking a bit of her salad. I nodded and looked down, "So what do you think of our school?" she asked
"Fine, I haven't really got around much." I answered with a half smile
"I see it is a big school, If you want I can show you around after school." She offered
"Cool...." I said "ca....can you om." I continued hesitating to talk
"Yeah? can I what?" she answered looking at me.
"Tell me a bit about Scott." I asked talking fast.
"Scott?" she questioned then a smile started to form on her face. "Oh I see...... Well he is pretty quiet stays to himself. The girls have fallen at his feet, but they get irritated with him because he's a quiet softie." She said then continued "I heard that he stood up for you yesterday?" she said leaning towards me
"Yes he did that was really nice of him even though he punched Bruce." I said chuckling
"Well I would consider yourself lucky because he never stands up for anyone." she said smiling
I started to turn red.
