*Saphira's POV*
(PHONE RINGING)
"Hmm...Hello"I said tiredly.
"Better wake up coz I'll be home in a few minutes."My mom said in a excited tone.
"Wha~"Before I could say anything, she started talking again.
"And you better get ready coz we're gonna celebrate!I just got promoted from work!Better get ready, BYE!!"
I got dressed and waited for her to arrived, while waiting , I got bored and decided to take a short nap.
(Dream)
"Saphira...Saphira...Saphira..."
I hear someone saying my name repeatedly.
"Who's there?"
A woman appeared in front of me, she seemed to look like me.
"I'm your mother"She said.
"What?Who are you?"I asked.
"Just ask and everything will be alright."She said this as she disappeared in the dark.
I woke up and heard my mom beeping her car from outside waiting for me to open the gate.I hurriedly went outside and opened the gate and greeted her.
"Hi Mom, congratulations on your promotion!"I said.
"Oh, thank you dear .By the way, I'm going to cook your favorite meal."Mom said.
"Your home cooked roasted chicken?!No way!"I said.
After an hour waiting for the meal to be cooked.We finally ate.
The dream popped into my thoughts again, making me wonder if the woman was actually my mother.
Then suddenly, I carelessly asked my mom a Question that I know will upset her.
"Mom...Am I adopted?"I asked.
She stared at me like she doesnt know what to say.
"It's just weird coz we dont really look alike and your never even introduced my father."I added.
"I dont know what you're talking about"Mom said.
"Seriously, I mean you could ju~"She started talking before I could finish my sentence.
"STOP WITH THIS NONSENSE!"She said, she stood up fixed her plate.Then she had an headache, I stood up and went to her.
"Mom, are you alright?"I asked worriedly.
"Ah!My hea~"She instantly to drop to the floor.
"Mom?Mom!"I rushed to the living room and called the ambulance , then after a few minutes, it arrived. The paramedics hurriedly carried her to the ambulance. I also went inside to accompany her.
This is all my fault. I did this...Dont worry mom, it wont happen again.
I have been waiting for a few hours, waiting for her to wake up.Then finally, she woke up.
"Mom?I'm so sorry, it wont happen again. This is all my fault I did this to you"I said while the tears fall down my cheek
"Dear, I think it's time for you to know...(she sighed)...You are~"She stopped when she saw the doctor enter our room.
"Sorry to interrupt, your mother is fine, it was just stress that made her unconscious. All she needs is rest and less stress."Doctor explained.
"Thank you, Doctor"I said.
The Doctor checked mother then left after.But wait, what was my mom going to say?
"Uhmm Mom, what were you going to say earlier?"I asked.
"Oh that?It was nothing"She said with a smile.
What?!But she was about to tell me something, she said it's time for me to know, know what?
"Mom, I'm gonna get us something to eat, ok?"I said and went out the room.
I was walking on the sidewalk then a guy bumped me and accidentally dropped my purse. He helped me pick up my stuff and I stared at his eyes when he gave me my stuff, it was grey like the color of metal
Such beautiful eyes
I said to myself.
And he gave me a smile that made him cuter .Then he looked at me one last time before leaving.
Who was that guy?
I asked myself.
I keep on admiring that I forgot what I was here for. I went to the bakery shop down the street and bout a couple of cupcakes and coffees and I went back to the hospital, As we ate I cant help but think about the guy who bumped me earlier.Why did he smiled when I admired his eyes, did he red my mind?Haha what am I thinking it's impossible.
"Saph, can you go down stairs and ask the receptionist for more pillows, I want you to sleep here tonight."My mom commanded.
"Sure"I replied.
I went to the ground floor and ask the receptionist for pillows, while I was waiting for the pillows, I looked outside and saw an old man about to get hit by a truck, I ran quickly and position myself in front of the truck and I rose my right hand to signal it to stop but the truck wasnt stopping, I closed my eyes and waited for me to get hit by the truck. But for some reason I didnt. I opened my eyes and saw a damaged truck, its front part looks like it hit something before us. Did I just stop the truck???I looked everywhere and saw people being shocked and scared and somehow amazed.Did I really this??
I went back inside and notice that the receptionist also saw the incident.
"What happened back there?"I asked.
"You...You...Stop the truck!"she said shockingly.
I took the pillows and went up the stairs.
I hope this is all just a messed up dream
I said to myself.
If this is a dream I need to wake up right now.
I went in the room and saw my mother looking at the window. Oh no, I think she also saw it happen.
She looked at me lile I'm a total stranger. She went close to me and held my hand.
"How did you...How???"She curiously asked.
"I dont know...It just happened"I replied.
She hugged me tight and tears fell from her eyes.
"Everything is going to be alright"She said.
What was Saphira's mom going to tell her???Is it something she needed to hear?Did Saphira really caused the accident??Find out in chapter 2
