It was a normal day in the barn. Steven was hanging out with his friend Connie all day so I would be alone for a while the gems were fighting monsters or something. Lazilli was on the water tower refusing to come down no matter what I would say. So I decided to climb up there with her. I sit beside her she doesn't look up. I scoot closer she notices now. Her face was wet with tears. Why was she crying? Maybe she still feels sad about the whole having to fuse with Jasper thing?
"Go away Peridot...." She said.
"No you need a friend and I want to help you what's wrong?" I asked her looking at her. She glares at me a bit. Then she sighs.
"I really don't want to talk about it..... Ok?" She said looking at me. I smile a gentle smiles to assure her it was okay. She slowly smiled back it was a small smile but at least it was a smile.
"Thanks for being here for me Peri... I really appreciate it...." She said suddenly hugging me. I was shocked I hugged her back. She hugs me tighter just wantijg comfort I could hear her crying again. I rub her back she grips my sleeve of my shirt. I hold her close and rubs her back. She starts to calm down a bit she smiles and looks at me. I wipe her tears away. She smiles.
"Thank you Peri...." She said.
"No problem Lazilli." I said. She places her lips to mine. My eyes widen. Her lips are so soft. I kiss her back she deepens the kiss. We break the kiss and stare into each others eyes.
"I-i love you Peri... I really do... A lot..." She said.
"I love you too Lazilli." I said she smiles and hugs me. I hug her back.
"Want to be mine?" She asked.
"You bet I do." I said smiling. She giggles.
"I love you my limestone." She said.
"And I love you my Water blossom." I said she lays her head in my shoulder. I smile and wrap my arm around her and we watch the sunset together.
