"Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock".
In a quiet, rainy, Saturday night, everyone has gone home in Central Headquarters. The clock ticks for every second that passes, and for every seconds that passes, fuels the boredom of Nadia, a 14 year old State Alchemist, who became a state alchemist at the age of 6.
"Jesus Christ, what a lame ass night" mumbled Nadia . "No calls, no missions. No...nothing".
Nadia looked around the office she was in. It belonged to no other than Roy Mustang. Although she has established familiarity with him, Mustang stays serious with Nadia, and pushes her to her limits. Nadia sleeps and practically lives in Central Headquarters, as she persists that shes fine being alone and doesn't need an apartment because it's " a waste of money". As Nadia's boredom escalates, she gets an idea. Yelling at the empty building, she screams, "Guess who's learning how to drive tonight, boys!!!". Nadia runs downstairs only to reach the bottom floor, where she reaches for the door handles. As she pushes the doors, she's shocked at what she's faced with.
"They locked the goddamn door", Nadia realizes, as she rolls her eyes at the thought of them locking the doors without realizing Nadia was here. Nadia did have her own key, but being the dumbass she is, lost it.
"Yah know what, plan 1 was pretty stupid, like me trying to drive right now, that's like super irrelevant to my plot line" "Maybe I should just go to sleep"
Nadia goes upstairs and grabs a blanket and lays on the floor, shifting in a different position every 2 minutes before falling asleep. When she wakes up, a haunting though passes her mind.
"Everyone's on vacation for the weekend, and no ones coming to headquarters" . Every year, everyone gets the weekend off from Central. You would think that they would need them all to work, but it's a tradition that's been with Central Headquarters for years. As Nadia looks around the room, she remembers what she usually does when she loses her keys and needs to get out. Nadia, without thinking, throws a book out the window and crawls out.
"I coulda just done this last night I don't know why I didn't do it then" Nadia says to herself while scaling down the brick walls of the building. She was three stories above ground, but her feet were firmly planted towards the wall with confidence. As she reaches the ground, she sees two boys, one with a red coat, and golden, slick hair pulled back in a braid, and the other in an iron suit. They rapidly approach her as they sprint towards her as she walks around the sidewalk. Out of breath, the blonde haired kid spoke "h-hey! Do you by any chance know where Central Headquarters is?". Nadia points to the building behind her with her thumb. "Yeah, right there". Nadia starts to walk away, with her hands in her sweatpants, when she notices the two boys struggling to open the door. Nadia turns around, trying not to laugh says "um Central's empty for the weekend, but you can go more south if you need some hel-" The golden hair boy interrupts, and speaks rapidly, "idontthinkyouunderstandweneedsoseeacertainsomeoneforacertaintypeofpositionhereandwecameallthiswayandwe-"
The boy in the suit of armor stops him. "What he means is that we came all this way to see if up we could take the State Alchemist Exam, and we really want to see someone about it". Nadia seems rather invested into the idea in seeing what happens. "Where you come from?" she says. "Resembool" they both said in unison as the both looked up at Nadia with a tired and desperate look on their faces. "Uh well, I could call someone- but hell nah boi do you know how much trouble my ass is gonna get in?" The boys looked confused. "What do you mean you'll get in trouble. By your dad or something for talking about? Pshh, Random girl walking in the street can call someone. I thought you could like break us in. Whatever we'll just find some-" Nadia interrupts the blond haired boy with the fiery look in her eyes. "I WAS gonna help your little helpless ass into talking with someone, but since you think I'm just a little nobody, I'll mind my own. But once you need help and realize just exactly what I can do for you, youll be crawling back, and when you do, I won't help you".
Ed rolled his eyes, and looked at Nadia with resent. "Whatever. I don't need your useless help.". Al frantically tried to apologize, but Nadia walked away by then.

"HOLY SHIT IM THE MOTHERFUCKIN MAN!" Nadia yelled at the bar across the street. Nadia wasn't allowed to drink *wink* *wink*, but hung out with the people their. Jacob, the bartender let out a soft laugh. "And why is that?" He said, smiling. Nadia stood on top of the bar seats and told Jacob affirming, " I JUST TOLD OFF SOME KIDS THAT DIDNT THINK I WAS SHIT. DUDE I FELT THE ADRENALINE POUR OUT OF MY VEINS!". The manager, Nika, while looking at her notebook while writing, exclaimed with a dreary voice, " Well, try to not get your adrenaline all over the floor, I just installed them yesterday. 1,000 dollars for some hard wood floor that isn't even THAT amazing. Little scams told me it was quality." Nadia looked at her "apple juice" and whirled it in her hands, looking at the bubbles that formed. "Just got tired of people walking all over me. I let so much shit slide that everyone's just using me as one, but I'm changing that. I hate to be that person but fuck man, I can't just stand their and let people talk shit to my face.". Nadia, scared to look up at what they had say, moved her head slowly up from her drink. Jacob and Nika both had a proud look on their face. "Jesus Nadia, I didn't think your goofy ass would ever learn" Jacob said as he buffed leftover glass cups. "Glad you learned something after all this time you came bitchin to me and Nika about your shit at Central. " Nika planted her chin on top of Jacobs head. "Glad you finally came to your senses" she said. As Nika went to console her drunk regulars, Jacob rubbed Nadia's curly, long hair from the top like she was a cuddly, which messed up her hair a bit, and got her a little annoyed. "Nadia, there's so much you need to learn in life, like how to handle problems correctly, or how to pay your taxes, or whatever. But for now, here's looking at you, kid" Nadia looked up at Jacob with stone eyes. "Isn't that from Casablanca?" Jacob looked hesitant as Nadia smirked with a " i caught your sneaky ass tryna pull a fast one on me" look. "W-w-what are you talking about, Nadia? That's obviously my own thought, pshh." Nadia laughed. "nah nah nah, 'here's looking at you, kid' was definitely on Casablanc-" Jacob interrupted, "HAHA WHAT U TALKING BOUT NADIA AHHHHH".Nadia confused, looked at Nika. Nika glared across the bar. "JACOB WHAT THE HELL YOU TOLD ME YOU MADE THAT ONE IN YOUR MIND". Nika flinged her server tray across the room, hitting Jacob.
