It was a warm sunny day as I pushed open the door to the 7/11. The girl who usually sits at the counter suddenly sits up and glares at me. Avoiding her look, I go straight to the cereal section and grab three boxes of Lucky Charms off the shelf. The girl's gaze still hadn't moved when I got up to the counter. "Hello there!" Smiling at her, I dug a twenty dollar bill out of my pocket and put it on the counter. She slowly slid the money towards her and put it in the register. "What the hell do you even do with these?" Register Girl asks me, one eyebrow raised as she stuffs the cereal in a plastic bag. "If I told you, you would think I'm nuts." I replied, taking the bag from her and walking out the door.
