“Excuse me alpha king I have an urgent message for you” one of the guards interrupted our conversation
I really wanted to know what he was going to say
"What is it?" he snapped
"Your mother wants to see you immediately" the guard said in a shaky voice
"That can wait can't you see that I am busy at the moment? I don't appreciate being disturbed" he said annoyed.
"I am sorry your highness" the guard apologised and ran out of the office.
"Yes so where were we my dear?" he asked in his deep, rich voice god he was so damn hot. It was unfair
"You wanted to talk about well us being mates" I managed to say
"Oh yes" he said
"About that well Patricia my dear. I wanted to make sure you understand about what being my mate entails you are expected to behave in a certain way and there are certain rules that you have to follow" he said smiling
What rules? I mean come on. What the hell.
"What rules are we talking about exactly?" I asked
"Well you see you have to at all times listen to me. I am your master now your mine" he said possessively. What the fuck. I am not a commodity to be owned
"Excuse me your highness but I am not a slave or a commodity and I deserved to be treated with respect and equality" I said my voice strong.
"You will never contradict my opinion never I forgive you now. You will learn eventually. It better be soon. Otherwise there will be consequences" he said
"Are you threatening me your highness your own mate?'' I questioned hurt
"Call it what you want. It’s just a warning don't come crying to me later" he said and proceeded towards the door.
Before stepping out "I have to go see my mother. You are free to roam about the palace if you like I will be seeing you shortly" he finished
Why didn't he take me along I thought. Didn't he want me to meet his mother?
