*"hahaha!! stupid freak, goes to school with a little teddy bear. Are you like a girl or something? HAHAHA, you probably are!" the two boys laughed at me, why would someone do that to teddy? How dare they speak as though they are above us. That's it, I'm going to make the regret crossing us.

" Hey.. what are you doing up there?" The two shouted, turning my attention to the flagpole I see a girl in slacks jump off the building bag in hand. She lands on the tip of the flag pole, picking up teddy as if his life was in danger.. ONly for the crazy human to jump from the 25ft tall pole landing on one knee, walking over to me she spoke with a soft voice that seemed soothing.

" I am very sorry these two hurt you guys. I will try to keep them in control."Slightly smiling I watched her storm up to the two boys, they sight was unbelievably hilarious" WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU TWO DOING? ARE YOU REALLY THAT SICK MINDED THAT YOU SEEK ENJOYMENT OUT OF OTHERS SUFFRAGE?! GO AND APOLOGIZE BEFORE I KICK YOUR ASSES!" she yells at them, soft voice having disappeared, they scurried over to me bowing rapidly."we're sorry, we won't do it again!" they said to me, " teddy look, that girl made those ass wholes apologize. She seems nice~~~." I said to teddy. When I look at them I see the boys running back into the school with her slowly limping after.........That day.... I'll always remember what that foolish girl did..... Why would she help me? Over the two she hangs out with....... Foolish indeed, when others found out...... She was bullied, somehow.... she always made them stop... then new ones would start. Humans are nasty creatures, especially girls. I felt bad, but I shouldn't of felt that way, should I? To me she is just a meal waiting to be eaten........ I never found out why she helped or why she limped, there wasn't any blood.........*

*Present time:P.O.V-Mine*

I was running late to my damned school, as I keep out of reach and knowledge of the Sakamakis  I have been staying at a 'friends' place, since I was 5. My name is..... Yuko, whenever I do something dangerous it packs a mean punch, if I do something good I get hurt.... In all, no matter what I do I get hurt in different ways but I it takes a lot to bleed... I'm thick skinned, which may be seen as a good thing in this new world. I go to work during the day so I go to night school, my habits must seem reasonable. Since elementary I have been going to school with the same people. Except a lot of them have disappeared, and a new student will be starting today. There aren't many of us left, us meaning humans that is.

There are six. . . . that is six vampires. I'm suppose to live with them and be their prey, that's why I stay at a 'friends' house. Though one of them protested. They started to get out of hand, my 'friends' that is, so I might go back and live with those blood suckers. Okay I'm just outside my classroom door, be prepared for the worst. . . . . . . . for it could happen. It has gotten down to barely any students in the classes, mine only has me and three others, oh and now the new kid. As I walked into class the sight I saw surprised me, the new kid was in fact female. But the problem was she was hanging out with the vampires. Usually I'm left alone, with the exception of trying to bring me back, but only one of them tries. If that girl is with them, than maybe it would be best if I went back so she didn't feel as alone and vulnerable.

I walk towards the girl seeing one of the vampires kind of clingy to her. "Hey newbie, what's your name?" I ask while I look from her to the three others in the room.

*P.O.V- Yui *

I was sitting at a desk in a room with Laito, Kanato, and Ayato. When a girl walked in wearing a similar uniform to the boys, she came over to me and Ayato.

"Hi newbie, what's your name ?" She asks, her eyes staring all around the room.

"H-hi I'm Yui. W-who are you?" I ask her obviously stuttering, if she was here did she know that they were vampires?

"Who said you could talk?!" Ayato yelled at me.

Ignoring his outburst she responded, "it's nice to meet you Yui, my name is Yuko. I'd advise you to be careful around them, kay? They aren't known to be the gentle type.". D-does that mean she knows?

"W-what do you mean by gentle?" I ask.

"Lovely she just had to be an idiot. What I mean is that they'll bite and suck your blood without a care in the world!" She says, yelling in the end.

*P.O.V-Mine*

She acts like I don't already know. "Lovely another stupid innocent one. I mean that they'll bite and suck your blood without a care in the world!" I respond yelling in the end.

"H-how do you know t-that they are... are-"She starts but I cut her off.

"Vampires. Yes I know, obviously I wouldn't still be going here if we weren't technically in the same situation."I respond nonchalantly.

"Then why haven't I met you before?" She asks, why didn't they tell her about me? It maybe because only Reiji really even knew I was suppose to be a 'bride' as well. But I'd expect him to tell the rest.

"I live at a 'friends' place." I casually respond.

"What the hell are you talking about chugata(medium sized)!?!?" Yells Ayato.

I get a tick mark in my forehead, "That's because Mr.Reiji thought it'd be best if you losers didn't know. Besides he thought it'd be funny to see you squirm with one less blood-sac around, how idiotic can you be?!" I ended up yelling again, talking to only select people I can be calm. I went and took my seat in the back corner, so i can keep an eye on them. The teacher came in, one that is so desperate for money that they didn't quit, and started writing notes on the board. All we do in this class is end up taking notes, and the rare test when the teacher has the 'courage' to give one. But otherwise nothing, it's always so boring. I might regret this, but it'd be nice if something slightly eventful happened. They're gonna be so mad, the secret is out.

While I was writing, I noticed the smaller of the 3, Kanato, staring at me again. I think I know why but I can't quite remember. It's been happening since grade school though. As the bell rung he stopped staring at me and grabbed his things, walking over to his partner in crime....Latio. Mr. Flirt-a-holic, hits on anything that isn't male. The three vamps in my class all happen to be triplets, Kanato is childish, latio is a manwhore, and Ayato is a hot headed arrogant buffoon. In my opinion they are the worst, even more than the other three. You have subaru the 'im tough, but secretly really shy', shu the 'nothing but music matters' and then reiji the 'obey me or parish' brother.

Resting from my thoughts I grab my things and head to the cafeteria, we don't have many classes since almost all of us already know what we're learning anyways. So they saw it pointless to have so many, instead they just extended the periods and added in a day switch. Walking in I see the usual few, minus the brothers, but this time I see the new girl, Yui. But low and behold I see them hitting on the poor thing, I watch as she turns to leave only for her hand to be grabbed and her slightly slammed against a nearby table. Glaring I walk over and interrupt before it gets worse.
