Chapter 7

Previously on Chapter 6

Gon " guys I have an idea, the weapon can break through the wall, lets use the long path and break the wall to sneak in the short path", we all agreed and went to do as planned.

After a while I make it just in time, the examiners congratulate us, Y/N " it's because of Gon, we made it ", Leorio " yeah good job gon " we all compliment him

We are now on a ship to the 3rd phase.

Hunter Exam - Phase 4

Y/N P.O.V

We are in a ship heading to the 3rd phase of the hunter exam. I'm currently sitting while leaning on the wall of the ship in between Gon and Killua. I remembered what happen last night, and I felt bad because Killua loves me and here I am scared to feel love, without thinking about the pain give to him. Killua has done nothing but being a really caring person for me.

Killua seems to notice what's going on in my mind cause he whispered to me " Y/N, if you're thinking about last night, don't be. I already told you that I'm willing to wait ", I smile softly at him, but on the inside I'm breaking. I don't deserve to be loved by someone as caring as Killua. But I'm just scared, is it wrong for me to be like this, I'm just trying to protect myself from getting hurt again, it's not like I didn't trust Killua, it's just that... I don't know anymore... 'I'm sorry Killua, I'm so so sorry' I thought while fighting back my tears, but one escape I quickly wipe them away hoping they didn't realize it.

How wrong can I be? Cause Gon say " Y/N-chan, are you crying? ", " oh it was nothing, I was just thinking about my home, my grandma. Oh how I missed her" I say, that was half a lie, I really did miss her but I just can't say the truth that I'm crying because I felt bad for the pain I caused for Killua

After a while we finally reached in what seems like to be an island, I guess this is where the 4th phase will be. Bean " okay everyone, please step forward according to your timing on phase 2 and grab a card, I just wait until it was my turn which is before Killua. It's finally my turn and I grab a card but end up being confused when I notice its blank, I just shrugged and walk back to the others.

" okay, you may take of the seal now ", 'oh so there's a seal ' I thought while took it of, I read it ' #198, what is that supposed to mean?' I thought then the examiners start to talk again " okay the number on your chosen tag will determine who is hunting who is hunted ", ' oh so that's what this is, if I'm not mistaken, this is one of the Amori brothers " I say while glancing at them

" now, according to your rank in phase 3, you can have a head start ", I just wait until my turn is up. One by one people start to enter the island, and it finally my turn, I turn to Killua and whispered a soft " good luck ", then I enter the island and took of running, I have to find a place to hide, while planning on my strategy. I was sitting on a tree when suddenly I got attack by someone. R/N ( random name ) " hey little girl, hand over your tag, and I'll spare your life ", I can sense that this person have a weak strength so it'll be easy. Y/N " give my tag to you? Tch, not a chance " I use my speed and appear behind him I create a ice knife and hold it to the person's neck " more like you should hand over your tag ", the person shakily reach inside his pocket and hand me his tag " there, p-please don't kill me" I took it and disappear from the person,
' she's not a human, that speed is inhuman ' the person thought.

I have one tag I think I'm gonna keep it incase I didn't find my target but that just mean I only have 4 points I need 2 more to pass. My mark is pulsing I look down to where my mark is to see its glowing violet, ' hmm someone's following me ' I thought,
" come out, come out wherever you are ' I yelled out, I sense something coming my way but its not a person, it's an arrow. I create a shield for self defense, now that I know where it came from time to catch the culprit. I disappear and reappear right behind him, " oh it's you, what's your name again? Oh right Pokkle was it? ", Pokkle " y-yeah "
Y/N " why are you following me? I know I'm not your target ", Pokkle " n-no but you have my target's tag ", Y/N " oh, why don't you say so? * taking the tag and hand it to him* here take it ", Pokkle look at me wide eyed " y-you r-really giving this to me? " Y/N " yeah, why not? It only worth one point for me anyway ", Pokkle " * take the tag from me* t-thanks ", Y/N " don't thank me, I gotta go bye "I turn and was about to walk away, Pokkle " w-wait!! ", I stop and turn to face him " hm? What is it? ", Pokkle " I didn't know your name ", Y/N " oh call me Y/N, anything else? ", Pokkle " who's your target? I'll help you, that's the least I could do ", Y/N " if you insist, it's one of the Amori brothers ", Pokkle " Amori brothers, I know where they are, follow me! ", Y/N
" okay then "

I start following where Pokkle is leading me, I notice in the distant, ' hey isn't that Killua', I notice he's facing the Amori brothers ' so he got them too, huh? ' I thought and appear in front of them, " finally I found you, which one of you is #198? ", they didn't answer so I just attack them. I got my target's tag and turn to Pokkle " thank you Pokkle, I wouldn't able to do it without you ", he blushed and nod at me, then he walk away. I turn to Killua to see him glaring at the space where Pokkle supposed to stand, Y/N " you okay, Killua? ", he turn to me his glare soften and give me a gentle nod, " seems like we already have our target " Killua say. Y/N " looks like so, so what now? ", Killua " just wait till the 4th phase ends ", "okay" is my answer

We walk for a while until we decided to take a break under a tree shade, there was a silent between us until I broke it " Killua, I'm sorry " I say while looking down, I feel his gaze on me. Killua " why are you saying sorry to me? ", Y/N " I'm sorry for not giving you an answer, it must have caused you pain", Killua " Y/N *grab my shoulder making me turn to him* I already told you, no need to say sorry, I understand. You're feeling the pain for heart broken, I know how that felt. There's no love without sacrifice. And this is the sacrifice I'm willing to go through, that is to wait for you", I just hugged him

Killua P.O.V

I hate seeing her like this, I preferred so much more to see her laughing and out going. Who knows such a cheerful and fun girl like her is experiencing such pain. She must have hid her emotion really well. But it really pains me to see how she's actually is, a girl with a broken heart. I swear I'll kill that guy who caused her to go through this pain. Y/N deserves to be happy, not going through pain like this. I love you so much Y/N. no matter how long it'll take for you to accept me, I'm willing to wait for you. You're everything to me, everything that I ever wanted. I kept hugging Y/N until I heard a soft snore. I look down at Y/N whose leaning on my chest to see her sleeping. I smile softly and kissed her forehead. She smiled softly, but it turn into a frown and a tear escape her eyes, I wipe it gently using my thumb, I didn't know she felt that way, she really don't need to feel bad for me, I'm doing this out of my undying love for her and I'm more than willing to wait, I closed my eyes and pull her closer to me. I'll always love you Y/N, and I swear for as long as I live I'll make you happy and safe with me. Always...

Y/N P.O.V

The 4th phase is finally over, we are now heading to the final destination for the final phase that's what the examiners told us, so far the exam is good and full of excitement, I can't wait to see what's the final phase will be. I hope there will be more challenge.

' I can't believe I've advance the hunter exam this far ' I thought while smiling, I didn't notice a pair of blue eyes is staring at me with a gentle smile adorning his face. Killua. Am I really worth it for his love?
