"do what?" she questioned. "do what isaiah? for the past two years i've been following YOUR rules, YOUR expectations, i never once go against what YOU want to do so shut the fuck up!" both her voice and hands trembled as she reached into her bag, pulling out a hard leather book.
she shoved the book into isaiah's chest.
"here. here are the things i wish i said but never did. i was scared of losing you so i never spoke up for myself, but now i am. you were never worth my silence."
