oliver is smiling at her,
his head in his hand and his
room dim.
she blushes.
"what?"
"you're so beautiful."
she blushes some more.
"I just ate my weight in
turkey. I can't even button my pants."
they laugh.
"you're still beautiful."
"you're cheesy."
"i'm not surprised, I ate three
cans of spray cheese today."
she covers her mouth in laughter,
staring into his eyes.
"why?"
he shrugs.
"boredom."
"remember when we ate two
tubs of ice cream that night?"
"and we couldn't fall asleep until
five in the morning and woke up with
stomach aches? yeah."
they laugh, placing their hands on their
screens and wishing for
just a single second, a flash in
time, that distance doesn't exist.
"one month."
